4 1. How to request product 1.1 How to request ucloud Server To request cloud server, a popup for server request appears by clicking Current status of service -> Request cloud server on ucloud server tab of cloud console. You can select server creation Zone (Availability Zone), product type and operating system (image) on a window for choosing an operating system of the popup for server request.

5 On a window for server selection, you can choose a rate system (monthly/hourly), whether to be provided with data disk and specifications of a server (vcore and Memory). If you select to be provided with data disk, 100GB (OS disk+data disk) is basically provided and otherwise, only OS disk (Linux 20GB, Windows 50GB) is provided. For server specifications, only ones you can choose are displayed based on the selected OS type. Type in server name with which you can easily perform maintenance and check duplication.

6 1.2 Completion of service request Confirm all the request details and click Request button. 1.3 Confirmation on server creation You can see the server being created on ucloud server tab of cloud console. Upon completion, the status changes into "Use" and server password is notified via and with popup.

7 1.4 Reference related to Cloud Server creation Availability Zone With cloud data center classified regionally and physically as an individual zone, you can select region for creating server (Zone). kt currently provides 2 Zones and they are planned for continuous extension. You can see details related to Availability Zone on ucloud biz portal Types of product As of January 2013, there are 10 standard types (1vCore 1GB ~ 12vCore 16GB) and 7 High-Memory types (2vCore 8GB ~ 16vCore 128GB) provided for specifications of ucloud server and they are planned for continuous extension. You can see detailed product types on ucloud biz portal Image Windows server and Linux OS are currently provided and images are to be continuously supplemented through periods of optimization and stabilization. You can see list of images that can be provided on ucloud biz portal. - Default image: Default images provided from kt - My image: Images created by a customer using snapshot function after creating a server - Shared image: Images created by kt and general customers and then opened so that other accounts (other customers) can select (no verification or technical support provided) -> Shared images finishing verification are to be provided on ucloud server image.

8 2. How to use products 2.1 Cloud console All services of kt ucloud biz are managed through cloud console in portal. (request, change, add, delete, status checking etc.) Each service requested is divided by each tab of cloud console and this manual describes cloud console of uloud server. - You can see summary of requested resources and current usage of network traffic on "Current status of service" menu with graphs. - You can request, start, pause and reboot server, make changes in password and rate system and cancel a service on "Cloud server" menu. You can also see detailed information on each server (vcore, Memory, Disk etc.) and create snapshots and images. - You can execute request for additional server disk, deletion, server connection and disconnection on "Disk" menu. - You can see snapshots created on "Cloud server" menu and create Disk using snapshots on "My snapshot" menu. - You can create a new server using images you created on "My image." - You can see images opened by kt and other users on "Shared image" and can also create a new server using shared images. - You can execute request for additional IP and deletion on "Network" menu and can also set Firewall, Portforwarding and Load Balancer for the relevant IP.

9 - You can create and delete CIP and make request for composition of Inter-AZ on "Cloud Internal Path" menu. (Refer to another manual for details.) - You can see current status of traffic in detail, alarm setting, records etc. on "Statistics on network traffic" menu. - You can inquire API Key and Secret Key on "API Key inquiry" menu. (Refer to another manual for details.) - You can see records of all operations (Log) on "Event" menu. 2.2 Start Cloud Server Upon completion of server creation after request, the server is on "Use" status. To start a paused server, select "Paused" server on "Cloud server" menu and click "Start" button. 2.3 Access to Cloud Server You should set port forwarding rule to make access to a created server. (You can see detailed description for setting on Port forwarding.)

10 2.3.1 Windows system Port forwarding setting required (number 3389) Start Run Type in mstsc. Make access to IP assigned through Port forwarding Linux system Port forwarding setting required (number 22) to make access to Terminal. (ex. Putty etc) Make access to IP assigned through Port forwarding. Enter SSH on Connection Type. (Port 22) Click Open. 2.4 Reboot and pause Cloud Server and password change You can manage lifecycle of cloud server on "Cloud server" menu.

11 By selecting a server "In use" and clicking rebooting, the server is rebooted. By selecting a server "In use" and pressing "Pause," the server is paused. When the pause lasts over 24 hours, only a small charge is incurred. You can change password of the paused server. (The changed password is notified via e- mail and with popup.)

12 2.5 Cloud Server cancellation You should first pause a server for cancellation. Select a "Paused" server and click "Cancel" button. With clicking Information on cancellation, Hot Bill checking and Cancellation request in order, cancellation of the server is completed. A deleted cloud server cannot be restored. When supplementary services (ex. monitoring) are requested on the server to be canceled, you should first cancel or disconnect the relevant supplementary services.

13 2.6 How to set network Network composition of ucloud server On initial creation of cloud server on a selected Availability Zone, Virtual Router is automatically created (created by Zone) and basically 1 public IP is assigned to Virtual Router. Cloud server can perform internet communication through this public IP. Source NAT, however, is applied to Outbound Traffic of all cloud servers through Virtual router. When an additional public IP is assigned to Virtual Router and you can use by setting Port Forwarding Rule on cloud server you need. Communication between cloud servers can be executed with the provided Guest IP and your cloud server is subject to isolation with VLAN technology and provides security. You cannot directly make access to Virtual Router as it is a System server and functions of port forwarding, SW firewall and SW Load Balance are provided through this Virtual Router Add/Delete public IP You can add/delete public IP on "Network" menu of cloud console. To add a public IP, click "Request to add IP" button on the top right and select Availability Zone and rate system. To delete a public IP, select the IP and click "Delete" button. The default public IP

14 provided on Virtual Router (Source NAT with "Yes"), however, cannot be deleted Firewall setting With selecting Firewall tab of the relevant IP, you can enter source IP Filtering-based Firewall Rule. Example) With port forwarding of FTP port (number 21), any IPs used to be able to make access. With use of F/W function, however, you can set as only certain IPs can selectively make access. (Refer to Firewall use guide for details.) Port forwarding By selecting Port Forwarding tab of the relevant public IP, you can set port forwarding. Port forwarding should be configured to make access to cloud server or provide external services. (ex. For server access, number 22 port to Linux server and number 3389 port to Windows server should be basically added. To use the relevant cloud server as a web server, number 80 should be added.)

15 2.6.5 Load Balancer You can use the basic Load Balance function provided from Virtual Router. (Basic LB function is provided using port and high-capacity LB is provided as a supplementary service.) (Refer to Load Balancer use guide for details.) 2.7 How to set storage There is one root volume on cloud server and you can attach or detach a volume. You can attach and manage 6 volumes at maximum.

16 2.7.1 How to add Disk To add a volume on cloud server, request an additional storage first, select server to attach and click "Connect server." When the connection is made to the relevant server, the status changes into "Connected." After connection with server, you should perform an operation to add disk with access to cloud server. You can make connection only to cloud servers created on the same Availability Zone How to delete Disk Select a disk to be deleted and click "Delete" button. The disk subject to deletion should be on "Separated" status and default disk provided upon server creation (ROOT-xxxxx, DATA-xxxxx) cannot be deleted. (Automatically deleted upon server cancellation) Add default disk on Windows In case of Window, add a volume and execute "Control panel -> Management tool ->

17 Computer management" of cloud server's operating system. With selecting "Storage -> Disk management" on Computer management, "Wizard to start disk initialization and conversion" pops up. After clicking on the right mouse button on the relevant virtual hard disk, execute by selecting "Disk initialization."

18 Continuously execute creation of partition and format. For creation of partition, make progress as following images. On the following procedure, set "Partition format" as below and select quick format. You don't have to designate volume label.

20 Set a file system as you want. Recognition of the added volume is completed by completing creation of partition and format as follows.

22 2.7.4 Add default disk on Linux In case of Linux server, a volume to be added should pass partition procedure on console. 1) PV(Physical volume) creation It is one physical disk. To make VG and LV on Linux, a physical disk should be made into PV form. 2) VG(volume group) creation It is a volume composed with more than one physical disk. All PV should belong to VG but not necessarily to Linux of course. 3) LV(Logical volume) creation A user makes access to LV and reads and writes files. VG belongs to more than one LV. A file seems continuous to a user but it can be written on discontinuous space of PV.
