2 November 20, 2013 Dear Colleagues and GASCO Member: On January 11, 2014, GASCO is providing an educational program for the cancer community to review the most significant findings presented at the 2013 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. This review will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia and has been approved for 3.75 Category 1 Continuing Medical Education units by MAG Mutual Insurance Company. The Clinical Director for the Program is Dr. Ruth O Regan. Dr. O Regan is Professor and Vice Chair for Educational Affairs, Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Enclosed is the complete agenda for the meeting pending final selection of the abstracts from the San Antonio event. The GASCO Board is excited to bring together this excellent faculty for this event. Please go to GASCO s website to register for this year s meeting or complete the attached registration form. This year we also pleased to provide an educational luncheon featuring a presentation by Dr. O Regan and William J. Gradishar, MD, FACP, Director, Maggie Daley Center for Women s Cancer Care, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. The title of this program is Revolutionizing Treatment Strategies for Recurrent Breast Cancer. There is no charge for this meeting for members of GASCO, which includes physicians and members of the GASCO Administrators Association and the Cancer Patient Navigators of Georgia.
