Monday, July 11, 18, 25 Knee Deep in LEGOS : 4:00 pm (ages 6+) Weekly program for children ages 6 12 to use their creativity in building and designing with LEGOS. Tuesday, July 5, 12, 19, 26 Toddler Time: 10:30 am (ages 18 months 3 years) Stories, songs, and crafts for toddlers and their caregivers. Tuesdays, July 5, 12, 19, 26 Thursdays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 Fit and Fall Proof, 1:00 pm An exercise-based fall prevention program for older adults that focuses on functional exercises that reduce an older adults risk of falling. Tuesday, July 12, 26 Alzheimer s Support Group: 2:00 pm (adults) Co-sponsored with Alzheimer s Association Greater Idaho Chapter, the Eagle Public Library offers support for individuals and families whose lives are touched by Alzheimer s. Music & Movement: 10:30 am (ages birth 5 years) Early literacy skills are built through rhythm and motion in this interactive program for young children and their caregivers. Tales to Tails: 4:00 5:00 pm (ages 5+)

2 Increase your reading ability and confidence by reading to man s best friend from Helping Idaho Dogs. Registration is required; contact the Youth Services staff at , ext Teen Advisory Board (TAB): 4:15 pm (teens 14+) Earn volunteer hours, socialize with your peers, and help your Library! Teen Volunteer Orientation Application deadline for Fall volunteers is September 17. Mandatory orientation for all new teen volunteers is September 21 at 4:15 PM. Volunteers must be 14 years-old by orientation. Applications are available at the Library. Wednesday, July 6, 20 Eagle Writer s Group: 7:00 pm (Age: adult) Learn the art of writing through lectures, writing exercises, and feedback. Pajama Storytime: 7:00 pm (ages 3 8) Come in your pajamas for stories, songs, a craft, and a bedtime snack. Preschool Storytime: 10:30 am (ages 3 5 years) Stories, songs, and crafts for preschoolers and their caregivers Summer Matinees at the Library, 3:00 pm (Age: all) July 7: Underdog July 14: Dinosaur July 21: Kung Fu Panda July 28: Racing Stripes Friday, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 Ready, Set, School! 10:30 am (ages 3 5 years) Stories, songs, and crafts, with an emphasis on school-readiness skills. Friday, July 8, 22 Nutty Knitters of Eagle Public Library: 10:00 am (adults) Local knitters and crocheters provide infant, youth, and adult knit products for those in need. Join them to knit for charity, or to make friends with people with common interests. Or, if you want to learn to knit, stop by; you ll receive a lot of free advice. If you don t want to knit but would like to help, the Nutty Knitters will gladly accept donations of yarn, which may be left at the Library s front desk. (Age: Elementary) Tuesday, July 19 Henna Tattoos, 4:00 pm This is your chance to be creative using this ancient body art. Henna tattoos are temporary and last two to three weeks. There will be henna tattoos, laughs, and fun! Wednesday, July 20 Totally Terrific Tie-Dye, 2:00 pm At this family event, bring your own cotton t-shirt or other item and let your inner artiste loose!
