2 M.O.S.T. CAMPS (Maximizes Out of School Time) Campers focus on reading, math, science, social skills, nutrition, golf, swim central and physical fitness. DATES June 13 - August 12 (Closed July 4 th ) AGES 5-13 (Kindergarten 5 th grade, transitioning into Middle School) OPERATION HOURS Monday Friday, 7:30 am 6:00 pm NOTE: Determined by income. 3 STEM CAMPS SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATH THEMED CAMPS VIDEO GAME DESIGN CAMP Campers will create games on different game engines with an introduction to programming. No previous experience required. At the end of the week campers will have developed a playable video game on different game engines. Pivot, Gamemaker, and Alice will be the main programs used. PRE-ENGINEERING CAMP Campers will do computer programming, use software to learn rocket launch, design, and use Lego Robotics. 5 SCIENCE, EDUCATION & ADVENTURE (SEA) CAMP A classroom without walls focusing on marine life and natural sciences. S.E.A. Camp includes marine biology, oceanography, water safety and ecology; helping campers build upon their science disciplines. Campers explore our beach areas, marshes, Everglades and other natural areas of interest, learning about fascinating wildlife, ecosystems and environmental issues. The coupon is redeemable for a Free Learn-to-Swim Course at Driftwood Community Pool. The child must be between the ages of 6 months and 4 years old. Each child will need their own coupon and may only receive one coupon per year. Coupons are available only to Broward County Residents. Please visit to apply for the coupon. 7 DRIFTWOOD POOL AQUATIC PROGRAMS DRIFTWOOD POOL N. 69 AVENUE DOLPHIN SWIM TEAM Dolphin Aquatic Swim School (DASS), Inc. is dedicated to having all kids in South Florida learn to swim, stay safe around water and have fun. Some of our swimmers are Jr. Olympic swimmers who are encouraged to train on all swim techniques and strive for excellence. HOURS Monday - Friday 4:30-6:00 pm ; Saturdays 11:00 am - 12:00 pm $70.00 per month AQUA ZUMBA Zumba Pool Party, the aqua Zumba Program incorporates splashing, stretching, twisting, even shouting, laughing, hooting, and hollering to an invigorating workout. HOURS Mondays 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm; Saturdays 9:00 9:45 am $5.00 per class JR. LIFEGUARD PROGRAM Water Park & Leisure Pool Safety This program partners participants with certified lifeguards to expose them to lifesaving techniques and procedures, First Aid, CPR, development of swimming and basic water safety skills. Participants experience both physical and mental daily training in an environment that highlights courtesy, respect, discipline, sound morals and good judgment.
