3 Introduction This document describes how to configure a wireless card in a workstation running with MAC OS X (10.7) operative system, to connect to the network through eduroam user authentication using EAP-TTLS. 1 Initial Checks 1.1 Checking the MAC OS X version To find the version of your Mac OS X, it needs to perform the following actions: 1. At the top right you must click on the Apple icon 2. Click on About this MAC 3. The pop-up window displays the operating system version. 2 Wireless Network Setup To configure eduroam network from a Mac OS X, we need to download the file called ".mobileconfig" that we can get on the following link: to "eduroam access with iphone, ipod touch or ipad This file must be downloaded using the alternative network connection eduroam. Here we show how to get the file through the wireless network XSF-UPC. To connect to the XSF-UPC wireless connection we must go to: eduroam network guide configuration for MAC OS X (10.7) 1/9

4 Once connected to the XSF-UPC network will open a browser (Safari), either from the Dock, or from the Finder (Go> Applications> Safari) to accede to the web portal where we will validate with the credentials to authenticate in the UPC intranet.
