2 Introduction Speke Hall is an exceptional example of a Tudor framed mansion in a most unusual setting on the banks of the River Mersey. Built in the 1530s, the Great Hall has welcomed visitors for over 400 years and has been the venue for countless festivals and celebrations. Entering the estate along the majestic tree-lined avenue, you and your guests are greeted by the stunning sight of the mansion. As a reminder of your special day, couples who have their wedding ceremony and reception at a National Trust property will automatically receive a National Trust membership for one year*. *Terms and conditions apply.

3 Weddings, Civil Ceremonies & Partnerships You will be warmly welcomed as you enter the mansion across the moat bridge and make your way along the richly decorated corridors to the Great Hall. With its grand fireplace and oak panelling the Great Hall makes a superb and atmospheric setting for ceremonies for up to 60 guests. Prices from 1,200 The Great Hall accommodates 60 guests After the ceremony, take your first walk as a married couple over the historic cobbles and through the stone archway to the South Lawn. The beautiful landscaped gardens that await your arrival offer a truly magnificent backdrop for your wedding photographs and for guests to enjoy celebratory drinks and canapés.

4 Speke Pavilion The Speke Pavilion is a beautifully appointed marquee, purpose built to accommodate wedding receptions, private parties and dinners for up to 200 guests, with an option of extending the space to suit larger numbers. The Pavilion also includes a purpose-built wooden deck for drinks or a quieter place to catch up with friends and relatives. Situated on the east lawn of this magnificent estate, the Pavilion offers a private and intimate location just a short stroll from the Hall, offering a truly romantic backdrop for your special day. 10 How to get to Speke Hall By Road We are situated 8 miles south east of Liverpool city centre on the north bank of the River Mersey, 1 mile off A561 by Liverpool Airport. Follow brown tourism or airport signs from M62 exit 6, A5300; M56 exit 12. By Bus Take the Arriva 80A, Paradise Street Interchange to Liverpool Airport (passing Liverpool South Parkway and close to Liverpool Lime Street); or the Arriva 500 Liverpool Lime Street to Liverpool Airport.
