Cntact manufacturer / supplier fr different applicatins. Installatin, cnfiguratin and peratin f the device must be under supervisin f a skilled electrician. Natinal regulatins must be bserved fr: - Preventin f accidents - Safety and installatin f mechanical and electrical systems - Electrmagnetic cmpliance Please nte the technical data f the device, envirnmental requirements and requirements fr pwer supply. ESD rules must be cmplied with when handling the device. The device ist t be regarded as a cmpnent in terms f EMC regulatins. Cmpliance with EMC regulatins must be reached fr the machine f which the device is a cmpnent. Use apprpriate measures fr shielding / filtering. The prcess f develpment and verificatin fr sftware and firmware (sw/fw) is carried ut with the necessary care and understanding. Hwever, sw/fw can nt be guaranteed t be errr free. Overview The device HS2 is used fr faster switching f hydraulic valves with electrmagnetic peratin. HS2 is ptimized ft the NG4 line f valves frm H+L. By applying a shrt puls f high vltage, the switching n time f a typical valve will be brught dwn frm 17 ms t apprx. 7 ms. The ptimized de-energizing f the magnet will als bring the switching ff time dwn t 10 ms (typical numbers). 6. Setup Cnnecttins t HS2 may nly be made / discnnected while pwer is ff. After pwer-n the device is ready - there are n sftware parameters r hardware ptins t be set. In case f a rtary mde switch being n bard, it will be factry set t 0 - this is the standard mde f peratin. Chse ther mdes f peratin nly after cnsultatin with H+L. 7. Pwer Supply and Fusing Nte the specificatins fr the pwer supply in the technical data. Nte: using a DC pwer supply with hard cntrl characteristic (electrnic current limiter) can result in errneus vltage drps due t peak current limiting. Cntrl f the fur channels 0..3 is independent frm each ther. Please nte: the required delay between tw switch-n events must be at least 25 ms t result in the full speedup f switching.
