2 Hire the MAC We re the MAC (which stands for the Metropolitan Arts Centre) but better known as the MAC Belfast s coolest venue. Located in the bustling Cathedral Quarter in the heart of the city, the MAC is an inspirational hub that brings together people from around the world. With stunning views over Saint Anne s Square and the city landmarks beyond, the Boardroom is an inspirational setting equipped with state of the art technology. The room accommodates 12 people comfortably around a large bespoke square table, with full video-conferencing facilities, projection screens and WiFi access. To keep you and your team energised, we also offer delicious catering options delivered to the room from coffee and cupcakes, to a three course gourmet lunch. Seating is tiered and retractable, so we can accommodate any number of set-up styles to suit your event. As you d expect, the theatre is fully equipped with the latest technology in sound and lighting. Our expert in-house technical team can create an atmosphere to enhance the mood of your launch, conference, meeting or workshop. 5 Upstairs at the MAC Located on the first floor, our 120 seat theatre known as Upstairs at the MAC is a flexible space that is perfect for both seated and standing events. Ideal for a press launch or networking event, Upstairs at the MAC offers a blank canvas for you to conjure up your dream event. Like our larger theatre, Upstairs at the MAC features top of the range theatre lighting and sound systems along with a ceiling mounted projector and screen suitable for high definition projection to give a professional feel to any event. Seating is tiered and retractable offering total flexibility. Our dressing rooms and back-stage area offer extra space for your speakers or performers. 6 The Lab Get the creative juices bubbling in our Lab a large, multi-purpose space that can accommodate up to 60 people in a variety of seating formats. When not in use for corporate hire, this room is used by our actors and performers as a world-class rehearsal room. Featuring light oak flooring, neutral tones and a range of configuration options, The Lab is a creative space ideal for planning sessions, seminars and team work. 7 The Factory The Factory is another of our 6th floor studio spaces. This large multi-purpose, double height space can accommodate up to 100 guests in a variety of layouts. The Factory and The Lab (which is right next door) can be used together to create an extensive suite for all your corporate and social needs. Featuring floor to ceiling windows, the Works and the Hub overlook Saint Anne s Square. The spaces can be used on their own, or in conjunction with one another to keep your party close together.

9 The Works The Works is a spacious room that includes an interactive white-board and projector for groups to host practical sessions, presentations and brain-storming. The Works can seat up to 60 people, in a number of seating options. Our main entrance is off the square, but you can also pop in via Exchange Street West. By foot: Follow this dinky map. By car: You can park securely at Saint Anne s Square multi-storey car park, which is on Edward Street right beside the MAC. By bus: The nearest bus stop is at the University of Ulster, York Street.
