SCHEDULES For the latest pool schedules, download the YMCA of Delaware mobile app or visit us online at WATER WISE The YMCA of Delaware s Water Wise program teaches children who otherwise may not have the opportunity to learn how to swim potentially lifesaving swimming and water safety skills. It embodies the YMCA of Delaware s commitment to social responsibility, because we believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn to swim and be safe in water. This learn to swim initiative focuses engaging youth throughout our communities, and during the school year, the Western YMCA was able to engage 512 youth from our own community. Through our School-Day Initiative, and partnership with the Red Clay School District, 512 youth were given the opportunity before summer to learn and reinforce the basic skills of swimming through a 4-5 week school day experience.
