1 FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS ~Fitness Classes must consistently have 5 or more participants to remain on the schedule. ~Instructors/Classes are subject to change. ~All classes are not offered every session. MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ADULT CLASS There are a few classes on the schedule that do allow year olds to attend. Those classes are clearly stated on the fitness schedule year olds MUST be accompanied by an adult to participate For questions regarding these classes, call Kelly Director of Fitness and Wellness at x28. Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program /Tai Chi for Arthritis This course is designed to help participants increase joint flexibility and increase range of motion. With the guidance of a certified Arthritis Foundation instructor, you will learn exercises to maintain muscle strength and increase overall stamina Ballet Barre Toning /Ballet Barre Fit Core This class is sure to get you in shape! After about 10 lessons your legs will look longer, your seat will lift, your abdominals will pull themselves further back under the rib cage, and your shoulders, arms and chest will become lean and defined. You will also burn away fat while using the ballet bars to keep you feeling challenged throughout the class. Ballet Barre Yolates/Barre-lates The ultimate abdominal and core stability workout! Barre Yolates/Barre-lates will work to elongate each major muscle group, burn away body fat around these muscles and stretch tight muscles. This class is designed to challenge your entire core with a series of unique movements and incorporating exercises from Yoga and Pilates practices. It is designed for all levels. Bike, Box and Abs This combo class includes 45 minutes of spin; followed by a healthy session of cardio kickboxing and ab toning Body Sculpt, Strength and Tone This class is a great way to condition your core! It will help you tone up muscle, improve body shape and muscle definition, increase metabolic rate so you can burn more calories, and generally make you look and feel leaner Bokwa Bokwa is a new and completely different approach to group exercise that is rapidly spreading across the globe. Bokwa participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while performing an energizing and addictive cardio workout routine. Cardio Sculpt/ Cardio Bootcamp An all around cardio workout using your own body as resistance. Traditional body sculpting methods with free weights, balls, and bands and rounded out with some floor and core work.

2 Cardio Body Works /Total Body Works A unique high intensity class that will work your total body using steps, weights, bands, body bars and stability ball. Great all over body workout Intense Cardio Circuit Training* Enjoy the benefits of strength training, cardiovascular training, aerobics and core training in a high-paced, fun class sure to get you out of your comfort zone. *Fee and Registration Required. Easy Flow Yoga A 45-minute, lunchtime yoga class that features a gentle flow to help increase flexibility and build-up or maintain a regular yoga practice. Hard Core Toning Kick your metabolism into a higher gear. Strengthen and condition your entire body form head to toes. This class will use hand weights, body bars, adjustable platforms and body weights to give your muscles a great workout. Happy Hour Yoga Come sweat, breathe and relax as you release the work week and open up to the week end! Move. Feel. Be. Hip Hop Hustle For decades everyone has loved the hustle. This class takes the fun factor up a notch with super hot moves that will have everyone wanting more! Kickboxing/Boxing This fun-packed class incorporates the stimulating moves of a boxer in the ring and the cardiovascular challenges of a high intensity workout. A terrific way to get into shape! Some classes incorporate heavy bag & gloves. *some classes incorporate heavy bag and gloves CardioKick/Tone This quick paced, high energy kickboxing class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance while strengthening and toning the entire body. Low Impact An aerobics class using basic dance choreography. This class will also incorporate strength training and stretching. High Intensity Interval Training A specialized form of interval training that involves short intervals of maximum intensity exercise separated by longer intervals of low to moderate intensity exercise.

3 Mini Trampoline Aerobics Trampolining can improve your balance and coordination. If you are musical, you should enjoy the rhythmic movements required to exercise efficiently. Trampolining is low-impact but provides a good cardiovascular workout, as the bouncing action quickens your pulse and works several muscle groups at once. Nia A mind/body, spirit, barefoot, aerobics class. Nia is designed for ANY body. It is ageless and limitless, transformational and effective for every person everywhere, from athletes, dancers and fitness instructors to the elderly. With the philosophy, Through Movement We Find Health, Nia addresses the whole person through music and movement integrated from nine traditional movements. 52 Moves Workout Essentially moving through the 52 basic moves that comprise the Nia technique. It s practiced to 60 min of non-stop music with a new move verbally queued every minute. There are no tricky patterns to remember so you can really focus of your body. It is NON STOP! Pilates This class is based on the concepts of Joseph Pilates with the goal of strengthening the core muscles of the body (hips, abdomen and lower back muscles.) Discover the dancers secret to creating a stronger and leaner look. Power Ball & Core Conditioning The ultimate abdominal and core stability workout This class is designed to challenge your entire core with a series of unique movements designed for all levels. The goal of core stability is to maintain a solid foundation, stabilize your spine and transfer energy from the center of the body out to the limbs. Power Yoga/Power Core Yoga Power Yoga is a general term used in the West to describe a vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa style yoga with an emphasis on strength and flexibility. Pump It!/Will, Power & Pump PUMP IT is a full-body workout, mixing aerobic exercise with weight training. During this class you will target all your major muscle groups using a barbell, bench and weights You will feel your muscles burn and strain from lifting your barbell; You will start to sweat and you will start to get exhausted, but you will be encouraged to go on and push Rising Sun Yoga Looking for a great way to greet the day? Try this Hatha Yoga approach to stretching and strengthening your body with our early morning enthusiasts. This class is for all fitness levels and is a perfect way to get into good health.

4 Spinning One of the most time and cardio effective workouts ever devised. Emphasis is on proper cycling techniques. All fitness levels welcome. A water bottle is mandatory for participation. Early arrival is encouraged as classes fill up quickly. Heart rate monitors and a towel are recommended. Step and Sculpt An aerobic program using traditional steps and risers (an oldie, but goodie.) Challenging for all ability levels. Stress Management Yoga Bringing the mind, body and spirit together in a peaceful, calm yoga workout. Tai Chi Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. It has been shown to increase flexibility and balance and fight stress and anxiety in a gentle way. Vinyasa/Hatha Yoga Hatha yoga teaches awareness and connection of the body and breath to calm the mind for meditation and help attain divine union. Vinyasa refers to matching breath and movement in asanas, or physical postures, for the purpose of internal. These synchronized movements can also be called "flow." Hatha Yoga is a gentle and is a slower paced form of yoga and Vinyasa Yoga is a faster paced form of yoga. Yin Yang Ying Yoga (with Weights) Yin is when we use gravity to hold relaxed postures for 3-5 minutes. Yang is vinyasa/power yoga. When you combine the two, the mind and body really strengthen, stretch, and relax. Incorporate the weights and you are building on the strengths of both disciplines. Yoga A class for any level yogi that teaches you how to gently move from posture to posture and help you develop the stability and flexibility for more advanced yoga classes. Weight Training/Cardio Weight Training Using a variety of weights and resistance exercises to tone and strengthen those looking for a back-to-basics class for getting in shape.

5 Xtreme Boot Camp A full body workout that will blast calories and tone muscles with a mix of cardio and strength training. Designed to challenge endurance and improve physical condition; this class incorporates weight training, balance and cardio drills, and periods of total rest. This intense, yet balanced, workout will burn calories and improve overall fitness, muscle tone, and exercise endurance Zumba Zumba means: to move fast and have fun! This aerobic dance class is sure to make you sweat. It is a fusion of Latin and International music dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness workout Quick Burn A combination class involving 30 minutes of Cardio followed by 20 minutes of Pilates and 10 minutes of Weight Training Power 60 Body Burn Cardio Jamming class will rock you to your core, your legs, your arms and get in great shape all around! TRX Suspension Training Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. Your CORE will constantly be challenged to stabilize your movements against the forces of gravity. *Fee and Registration Required Private and Semi Private Pilates Reformer Training The Reformer assists you through the more challenging exercises and can add resistance on easier exercises. This personalized Pilates Training is ideal for anyone from the beginner to the advanced devotee.
