He is responsible for the leadership of the group and for undertaking advisory roles and M&A assignments. In his last corporate role, Rod held the position of Regional Manager Global Consulting Organisation for Platinum Technology Inc, responsible for all aspects of consulting operations for the east coast of Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the US head office. He has a Business Degree in Information Processing, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a senior member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS). LUNCH SPEAKER Peter Carr, Managing Director, Longhaus Peter Carr is a respected industry analyst and commentator with over 18 years experience working in the IT and media sectors. Peter is currently the Managing Director of Longhaus having previously held Vice President level positions with the ICT industry s leading NASDAQ listed Advisory and Consulting firms Gartner, Forrester Research and META Group. Peter's research work is primarily focused on the application of technology in the Australian and Asia Pacific region.
