3 chris badger Non Executive Director experienced in Utility, Energy and Financial Services sectors Chris has Board and Management experience across Australia; Europe; USA; Thailand and Indonesia. He is a Non Executive Director at South Gippsland Water and former Non Executive Director and Deputy Chair at Bendigo Community Bank Trafalgar and Districts. Before his Board career he led several energy and utility companies in Executive General Manager and Executive Director roles. Chris provides advisory services via CDB Consultants Strategic Advice. He has led Board subcommittees on best practice and environmental and sustainability. He has experience being a member of the governance and capital works; health and safety; governance and human resources Board sub-committees. Chris is a graduate of AICD's Company Director's course. russell yardley Board Chair and Non Executive Director, Technology and Health sectors Russell is a Board member that takes a focus on helping Australia become an entrepreneurial hub, by driving productivity through innovation, to achieve growth and prosperity. He is a Board member of NICTA (National Information Communications Technology Research Centre of Excellence); Russell is Board Chair of Readify (Microsoft's Global Software Development partner in 2012 and currently Australian Partner of the Year), Alcidion (A leading Health Informatics Company) and Algonquin Investments. He is also Board member of AIIA (Treasurer), Bienalto (WPP/Wunderman majority owned company) and the Film and Television School at the Victorian College of the Arts. He has spent his life encouraging artists to inspire scientists, who can inform engineers, to transform the world. 3

4 yvonne howie CEO and Board Chair Yvonne is CEO, NSW for The CEO Institute, a membership organisation for CEOs and C suite senior executives. The CEO Institute provides a network of business leaders, with 1000 members nationally and over 350 in Sydney. It enhances leadership skills for members via its CEO syndicate program, in small peer groups with approximately 16 CEOs from non-competing organisations. It also delivers the Future CEO program, for aspiring CEOs. She has had this role for 7 years and in that time, its Sydney membership has more than doubled. Yvonne is also Board Chair of The Co-op, Australia's largest Co-operative with over 1.8m members and turnover of over $100m. She is also a Board Remuneration Committee member. Yvonne also has Non-Executive Director experience in the pharmaceutical and philanthropic space, government, NFP and for profits and is Director of the newly established Australian Arab Leadership Dialogue. Yvonne s career spans membership organisations, politics, public relations, not for profits, and for profit organisations. peter knock Non Executive Director and CEO, Retail sector Peter is a Board Member and founding Director of the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals; representing 13 million Australian Co-op and Mutual members. Peter has been a retailer for most of his working career working with Myer, Dymocks, Thrifty and now leading The Co-op as CEO. With stores on over half the University campuses across the nation, the Co-op serves over 60% of the country's tertiary student population at any one time. The Co-op is Australia's largest Co-operative by members, and largest member owned retailer with over 1.8 million members. In an Australian first the Co-op will soon offer all worldwide published ebooks, text books and elearning materials through its own digital portal. It is Australia's oldest active online retailer, selling online since early Up to 100,000 new members join the Co-op annually. In the digital sphere he created Australia's largest online B2B catering marketplace dealing with most of Australia's top 1,000 companies. 4

5 danny bigatton Group Executive and COO, Banking sector Danny is Group Executive, Chief Operations Officer at Rabobank. Prior to taking this role in 2008 he reshaped Rabobank's Internal Audit department. Danny has extensive experience domestically and internationally; working in financial services and in the areas of accounting, technology, enterprise architecture, risk management, governance, and business continuity management. matthew smith CIO, Government sector Matthew has been CIO at Rural Fire Services for 7 years. He has been in the IT/ICT industry for over twenty-five years, all of it before the NSW Rural Fire Service was in vendor land, mostly as a consultant. He started in an applications development (or software ) house, moved to a US vendor of mainframes and mid-range computing to consult and manage projects on large-scale implementations of database and UNIX mainframes at a global level. Matthew moved to Microsoft, when he could no longer, not include Microsoft products as part of the solution architecture for customers. Was a consultant and services manager at national and global levels within Microsoft for about eight years. Downshifted about seven years ago, concomitantly deciding to leave vendor land to do some good with his technical skills and experience. 5

6 christopher molloy Head of Portfolio Management, Energy sector Chris Molloy was born in New Zealand where he studied philosophy and anthropology. He moved to Sydney at the beginning of the eighties and then moved on to London in the early nineties where he honed his skills in project management. Chris returned to Sydney after a two year stint in the Middle East in Since returning to Australia, Chris has set up and program managed several major transformation programs for Telstra and Bankwest. Over the last four years as Portfolio Manager at the APA Group, he has introduced project and portfolio management disciplines, standardised project management processes and introduced a project prioritisation model. He has given stakeholders visibility of an enterprise view of project delivery and elevated decisions on project investment to a strategic level. He is a certified Manager of Portfolios, and certified P3O Practitioner. tony hayes ISACA International President (June 2013 June 2014) Tony is ISACA's International President, a Board member of ISACA and Deputy Director-General at Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services in the Queensland Government. He has extensive experience in strategic planning across the Queensland public sector. Hayes has been a member of ISACA since 2003 and has served on several ISACA volunteer bodies. He is currently a member of ISACA's Strategic Advisory Council, Governance Advisory Council and also served as President of the IT Governance Institute Board of Trustees. Prior to being elected international President, he was an international Vice President of ISACA, Director of ISACA and served as Chair of the Relations Board and the Finance Committee. Hayes is also an adjunct Professor and member of the Business Information Systems Advisory Committee for the School of Business at the University of Queensland. 6

7 rob stroud ISACA International President elect (June 2014 June 2015) Rob was born in Sydney and started his career working at one of Australia's big 4 banks. He is the incoming ISACA International President (as of June) and Vice President, Innovation and Strategy at CA Technologies, New York. In his ISACA career, he has served as an International Vice President; been a member of the Strategic Advisory Council; Chair of the ISO Liaison sub-committee; and former Chair of the COBIT Steering committee. Robert has also served on the Boards of itsmf International and itsmf USA and contributed to multiple versions of ITIL. angela coble Global Manager, Enterprise Security and Risk Management, Johnson & Johnson During a career spanning 20 years, Ange has enjoyed senior management roles in business planning; consumer strategy; strategic development; organisation transformation; ICT; operations; information management; information security; and risk management. Ange is a locally and internationally published author with extensive knowledge in Health, Utilities and Finance sectors. Ange s enthusiasm and personal energy has supported her eclectic experience. All the while continuing to accumulate professional qualifications and enjoy a full family life. Ange s ongoing success within such broad industry forums has been due to her strong leadership and responsive skills, analytical and project management skills and proven ability in implementing effective strategies to achieve successful business outcomes to create alignment and operational advantage. Supporting and mentoring young women through life choices and into IT careers is an ongoing passion. 7

8 david roche Board Member, NFP sector and Independent Consultant David was born in Dublin, Ireland and moved to our sunnier shores of Sydney, Australia in He has 8 years Board experience, including 2 years as President/Board Chair, working with a fantastic team, running ISACA Sydney Chapter. With a burning desire to make a difference to the business community, he voluntarily spent most of his 2 nd year as President, researching and writing on strategic planning practices. He interviewed 40 Board and Management team members, across different sectors, willing to contribute to the profession and will publish his findings in ISACA Sydney Chapter's e-book on Strategic Planning at this event. David is a Board Member in the NFP sector and independent consultant at Governance Architects. He has 23 years experience solving business problems for boards; corporate strategy; business architecture; portfolio management; IT and risk management functions.
