2 Mission: To provide a unified voice to influence SAP and enable the community to leverage SAP for success. Vision: We will be a strategic partnership of the Australian SAP community to help each other achieve their business goals by gaining the insights and influences required to utilise and improve SAP, and close the gap between strategy and execution. SAP Australian User Group is an independent not-for-profit industry association that provides information, access and advocacy for SAP customers and professionals. Through a range of forums, we share insights and leverage SAP to achieve our member s business goals. Since 1998, SAUG are the only SAP-endorsed user group in Australia, representing over 3,500 individuals from 400+ companies. How does SAUG deliver on our promise? Trusted source of industry information & market intelligence Access to SAP Networking opportunities Training and professional development The SAP Australian User Group (SAUG) provides a forum for individuals and companies within the SAP community to share knowledge, network with their peers, influence the direction of SAP solutions and provide ongoing education for all members. SAUG is dedicated to providing our members year-round support and delivering the tools and opportunities to get the best value from your SAP investment. We offer channels for the exchange of ideas and experience within the SAP community so our members can expand their knowledge in a time- and cost-effective manner. We provide members with ongoing education opportunities, including virtual and face-to-face informational sessions and forums, workshops and webcasts. We strive to establish new and improved ways to deliver our members training, updates and employee skills. Our members include market-leading small businesses, significant public and private sector organisations and associations and some of Australia s largest companies. Special Interest Groups What is a Special Interest Group? The SAUG Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are the largest networked community of SAP professionals in Australia, and are integral in providing our members with a year-round community. The groups afford members the opportunity to connect with other members who share a common interest, such as a specific industry, business process, or technology and to meet with members from their local community. SIGs allow you to increase your knowledge in a specialised area, such as the software application itself, technical infrastructure, implementation, further development and/or maintenance. Each SIG holds regular meetings throughout the year. Attendance at meetings is free of charge for SAUG members. 4 Website SAUG provides educational, networking, and influence opportunities via face-to-face events, and online content and collaboration. Members visit saug.com.au daily to register for events, participate in discussion forums, and download content to get the most out of their membership investment. Exclusive online resources. The SAUG website offers a members-only section that provides access to a variety of presentations and message boards, as well as the option to be notified via about upcoming events and special activities that may not be open to the general public. Features of the website include: Efficient functionality for booking events and retrieving member information Join a SIG community and connect with other SIG members Access the members-only SAUG library for copies of recent presentations Membership Consultant Membership Membership is available for organisations who are not SAP Customers, but are associated with the use of SAP solutions and services in a professional capacity. Organisations can apply for Corporate Membership where an unlimited number of employees from their company will receive the benefits of membership. Consultant (Corporate) Membership $2,155 (GST inclusive) Benefits: Up to two attendees from the membership organisation to any SAUG regional events at no charge. (Please note: Consultant members are limited to 2 attendees maximum at regional events unless exhibiting or speaking) Attendance at SAUG Summits at discounted membership rates May participate in Special Interest Groups (SIGs) unless restrictions apply Unlimited user accounts on the SAUG website Access to media / presentations from past events Research reports from leading Universities and other established sources SAUG member discounts on popular SAP publications Participation in all SAUG webcasts ASUG membership a value of USD$4,000 Opportunities to raise your company s profile Limitations: No voting rights at SAUG AGM Consultant members are limited to two attendees per Conference, whether as part of their membership or paid Cannot lead a SIG, but can assist Limited access to Discussion forum on the website Membership Period: All memberships run for one year. On the anniversary of the membership period (date of acceptance), a renewal notice will be sent to the primary contact of the member organisation or the individual. How to Join: Applications for membership are submitted online. Payment of fees can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or by invoice. The SAUG Membership Committee will review your application and advise you by accordingly. 4
