2 Combatting methamphetamine The use of Methamphetamine or ice is a growing and serious problem. This conference will look beyond the headlines and the hype to the real problem and how we can best tackle it. While law enforcement plays a vital role, this conference will focus on the other vital areas of prevention, treatment and support (including support for families). It will do this through a series of presentations from experts in the field and those organisations making good progress. Please note that, while this conference focuses on methamphetamine, lessons are transferable to alcohol and other drugs. She is a Deputy Editor of the Drug and Alcohol Review journal and National President of the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy. She is currently the chairperson of the Family Drug Help (FDH) advisory committee.
