2 Zero Waste school - kids&community This is a competition for ecological education, for sustaining the selective collection of waste, involving all Romanian pupils aged 6 14 years. The 2015 edition was realized with the support of the company Continental. The contest lasted for 6 weeks. At the competition took part pupils from 117 schools coming from 32 counties and from Bucharest. There have been collected 140 tones waste. There were organized several creative selective recycling activities, 34 actions for the cleaning of the areas near the schools, but also outside the cities or along rivers, 15 actions for planting trees. The pupils issued and distributed in the city prospects with information regarding selective collection, they realized educational movies, radio shows or online shows for ecological education, plays, poems, workshops for creative recycling. Our company was represented by School no. 1, class OB, sponsoring their initiative with

5 Family day - family&career Kendrion Family Day gathered this year the employees and their families in the mountain resort Cheile Cibinului, a unique landscape which made it easy for everyone to get acquainted with each other. The sunny weather, the laughing children and the welcoming atmosphere of the mountain area made the day almost perfect for everyone. Adults have been challenged to exercise their football capacities, their target shooting abilities and together with their children have taken part to different entertaining activities. Children could jump on inflatable slides, could watch plays of different fairytales played by actors, could paint, draw. It was organized also a bike-ride competition for children. Each of them received a diploma and the first three winners also a cup. The day ended with a camp fire surrounded by the Sibiu Kendrion family. 5

9 Drawing contest for kids - kids&career The Drawing Contest had this year an ecological subject. Almost 15 children of the Kendrion employees presented their drawings to the subject ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION. There have been established three main winners, with special prizes, but actually every child received a prize as reward for their interest, creativity and ambition. 9

13 The DWS Football Cup teambuilding The competition was organized by the German Economic Club Transylvania (Deutscher Wirtschaftsclub Siebenbürgen). At this competition took place 8 teams, which were divided in two groups. At the 16 th edition of the DWS Cup the team Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) was awarded the 3 rd place. Szabo Sandor was declared the best doorkeeper of the competition, having the fewest conceded goals. The team Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) was awarded also the prize for the most combative team of the competition. 13

17 Cycling Tour - teambuilding The competition was organized by the Sports Club Sibiu Sport Project. This event is an on-road cycling competition. The route was 35.3km long for boys and 18 km for girls. The teams consisted of 6 boys and one girl. Offered prizes: There were awarded three types of prizes: o o o The best team The fastest masculin cycler The fastest feminine cycler Special prize: o o the fastest feminine cycler over 45 years the fastest masculine cycler over 45 years At the category The best team our company was on place 26. At the category The fastest femine cycler Mrs. Baltes Cora obtained the second prize. 17

21 Kendrion Sibiu table tennis competition, edition IV - teambuilding The competition was organized by Dan Comsa our colleague. The tournament was organized within the ARIA SPORT complex, which provided us with perfect playing conditions, more precisely with a space dedicated entirely to this sport. The atmosphere was a very friendly, collegial one, but at the same time, the ambition of the participants to finish at the top, drove them towards surpassing their own limits at some points in the competition, which resulted in beautiful ball exchanges in the applause of the public. 14 colleagues registered to participate in the competition. 24 Climbing Championship, edition III - teambuilding The 3 rd Edition of the Climbing Championship took place at the Arka Park adventure park in Păltiniş. Relaxation...sport... competition... mountain air... team work. The championship is a sports competition dedicated to the employees of companies; 11 companies from the Sibiu County competed against each other. The competition meant the timed full covering of 6 routes by all team members. Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) and Kendrion Industrial (Sibiu) participated with two teams which in the final classification ranked as follows: Team 1 1 st prize (Eugen Schiopotă, FlorianSchiopotă, Delia Gadelmaier, Sabin Ciorbea); Team 2 2 nd prize (Liviu Baiaş, Cora Balteş, Adrian Badea, Sandu Szabo). 24

28 Everything for the Community community investment&volunteering In the second semester of the year 2015 Kendrion Automotive (Sibiu) has sponsored and collaborated with the association Totul pentru Comunitate (Everything for the Community). The association runs several programs: they try to stop school dropout by offering examples of students who have good results at learning and are brought in front of other students to talk about their motivation to learn. Other programs involve organizing cultural events for the community, supporting poor families with food products and trying to integrate them in the community, by involving them in various projects. Nobody receives anything, unless they do something in exchange. It is about creating a new way of thinking and acting. We had a few volunteers from our company who helped at the packing of the recompense bags. We also had a volunteer who participated in an event at a recovery center for handicaped persons where presents were brought, carols were sung and cake was eaten. 28

32 Cristmas Party - teambuilding On the 18th of December we had our annual Christmas Party for all employees, direct and indirect, both ICS and ACS. We spent a special, joyous evening among colleagues and had lots of fun. At the beginning of the event, Mrs. Andra Boboc held a welcome-speech and presented our community involvement projects. Then, a group of traditional carol singers invited the participants to get into the Christmas mood. Later on, eight folkdancers presented their show and invited the participants to join the hora (traditional round dance). An important moment of the party was the tombola (raffle), since we had 10 Kendrion prizes and 10 prizes received from our collaborators, the companies Rampf Polymer Solutions and Oehme. During the party, the participants had the opportunity to have group pictures taken at our Kendrion Christmas panel and then have the photos printed in Christmas format, as souvenirs. Moreover, everyone received a small Christmas gift to take home. Last but not least, there came the traditional Kendrion Christmas cake, to celebrate the ending of another year of hard work and committment. All in all, the band, the DJ and the Kendrion Sibiu teams made this an evening to remember. 32
