Just pick out a tag of something you would like to get, and when you have it you can put it into the donation box next to the tree. Come one, come all, to the LHW White Elephant Gift Exchange! Here is how to participate: 1. Pick out some random item you already have that you may not use anymore, or would make a funny gift for someone else. 2. Wrap your item up in wrapping paper so that you cannot see what it is. 1. Come to the AR on December 10th at 2PM with your gift and enjoy the activity! Lake Huron Woods was able to send the National Breast Cancer Foundation a check donating all of the money collect throughout our October Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon sale and donations. The money will go towards saving the lives of many loved ones. Your support is greatly appreciated! Note the Changes! 3 Hi Everyone, We made it through Thanksgiving. I hope everyone had a good dinner and didn t eat too much! Now it s time to start getting ready for Christmas! Accelerated Private Duty has started honoring an employee of the month! Our employee of the month for October was Bonnie Kinney! Bonnie was born and raised in Port Huron. She has been married 41 years and has 2 children, and 3 grandchildren. She graduated from Port Huron High School in She did some health care for her parents, while on hospice, and then took care of a sick neighbor. She decided to attend Ross Medical School where she graduated as a medical assistant in She did her externship with Leslie, then Leslie immediately hired her! Bonnie is a very dedicated employee! She does anything asked of her, including coming in on her days off when needed. We also want to welcome Michelle Kocian s newest addition to her family a baby girl: Acey Shay 7 lbs. 4 oz. 20 ½ inches long born 11/20. Michelle works full time on the midnight shift. Don t forget I am still checking blood pressure, and blood sugars every other week on the balcony. Check your calendar for the date. No skill, experience, or supplies required. We have everything needed to make beautiful, personal greeting cards. Cards can be made for any & all occasions. Christmas Bulb Craft Looking for an addition to your Christmas décor? Come decorate your very own Christmas bulb! All Supplies will be provided. Note From Maintenance: Please be sure to put all of your garbage into trash bags or double-bagged grocery bags before putting them into the trash rooms. There has been an accumulating issue of garbage being thrown out as individual items causing for problems with taking it out. Thank you for your consideration! December is a month of music and joy!
