2 The dialog window below will appear. Type a name and select the Contacts folder and click OK. A good name to type will be Blackberry and the date you are doing this import into Outlook. See example below. Once the new Contacts folder has been created, it will appear as shown on the dialog window below. Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager and plug in the handheld to the USB Cable. 4 Click the Configuration tab to see the dialog window below Then click Configure synch button and the handheld applications configuration window below will come up. Select (highlight) Address book and click the Choose button. The Choose Application dialog window below will appear as shown on the next page. 5 On the list, select (highlight) Microsoft Outlook and click the Export radio button and then click Browse to continue. The Choose Address Book Folder (s) dialog window will appear Highlight the content of the Selected Folder(s) and click the Remove button. In the example above, the Personal Folders\Contacts\ would be highlighted for removal. 6 In the upper text box, expand the Personal Folders and select the Contacts folder to export your contacts to. Click the Add button on the right hand-side of the window to continue. You must select the folder that you want to import your address book to. This is the Blackberry folder you created for this operation. See below. Then click OK again to go back to the Choose Application dialog window. The dialog window below will come up, click OK to continue. 7 And, click OK to continue on the screen below. The handheld applications configuration window will now appear, as shown below. Click the Configure button and select Advanced Settings on the screen that appears (note that screen shot is not provided as Configure is a pull down menu.) The dialog window below will appear.
