Résumé: Description: Thèmes: Sectors: Types de Produit: Information sur le produit: The Project PERFECT 50+ transferred the work-principles of a coaching-concept successfully used for unemployed aged 50+ in Germany to an in-company coaching for 50+ employees. The concept involves the steps of analysing competences, selecting appropriate training measures, coaching training participants, supporting the transfer of newly acquired knowledge into daily work practice and finally evaluating the overall training success. The person carrying out these tasks was named company coach. To qualify future company coaches, the project created a training programme. The target group are mainly vocational in-company trainers. Coaching 50+ employees in small and medium enterprises (SMES) This product is an approach on how to establish the role of a so-called company coach in SMES. The company coach has the task of coaching 50+ employees in further vocational training issues. He or she supports 50+ employees in analysing and describing their individual competences, comparing them with the requirements of their workplace and deriving solutions from this comparison (which may lead to a proposal for further vocational training measures). If this proposal is agreed on by the company management, the company coach will then support his/her coachee during and after the training measures to help him acquiring new skills and integrating them into his daily work practice. Also, the company coach supports the 50+ employee in evaluating the overall effect of the training, taking into account the goals set at the beginning of the coaching process. It contains a description of the competences needed by a future company coach, a description of the training itself as well as information about quality criteria. Also, a reference to the EQF is made. Coach Handbook The coach handbook is a written form of the company coach concept as described above. It contains a detailed and clear description of the coaching process. Furthermore it contains templates of forms and tools usable by the coach during his work. The handbook serves two purposes: 1. It is a clear and concise description of the concept company coach and it s implementation in SMES. Thus, the handbook is the basis for working out the role of the coach during the training. On the other hand, it also is a documentation of the 2

The handbook also contains tools. These are proposals that can be easily adapted to suit the needs of an individual company. During the training, the tools are explained and used. Hints on why and how to adapt them to individual needs are also given. Also, the tools present a kind of checklist that defines important working steps. Hints on Certification This is a document that serves the purpose of preparing the realisation of a product certification. It contains hints on how to ensure product quality of PERFECT 50+ training measures as well as materials on how to evaluate the success of trainees taking part in such a training.
