Lengthy explanations of processes or functions of parts, assemblies will be changed to a short HOLOGRAPHIC animation that delivers the same information in a fraction of time while keeping the attention of students focused on the subject. 3D-PLP-M opens the possibility to have parts, engines, even complete vehicles virtually in any classroom, to view working cycles or working parts of a structure from within the engine. Trainees will be able to hear the noise of malfunctioning parts and dangerous processes could be demonstrated and practiced without the need that students really have to be there. With 3D education technology the implementation of work sequences or any task could be checked and this way student performance could be assessed. Résumé: In theoretical education it is sometimes impossible to show students a particular part of an engine, a vehicle or a working cycle. Up to now this problem is handled using dummy parts, projected drawings, etc. Students visualize, imagine how the real part looks like, works or how a process is completed within an engine or a process is carried out. With this kind of education students need additional time for understanding that takes place during practical training. Here, basically the same procedure is repeated in order to enhance the content of theoretical education. and to give the possibility to recognize real parts. This makes practical training at least 20% longer. The main product of the 3D-PLP-M project is a special methodology that uses HOLOGRAPHIC 3D Virtual Reality technology. With this patented method a 3D virtual object is generated of a part or a process. These then can be moved, modified without limits. 3D- PLP-M can be used in common classroom activities, on stand alone computers or in internet based Life Long Learning process. The project outcomes include generating 3D educational material on DVD for the motorcycle mechanics education in the languages of the partner countries and in English. A curriculum is also created during the project. As this procedure is a very recently developed science a teacher training is indispensable. Train-the-trainer course along with pilot courses will be used to test the training material at the partner institutions. The results will be fed back to improve 3D-PLP-M. Seminars and conferences will serve to raise attention for this new way of teaching and help valorisation. Any language version can be created to open a different way of education across Europe. 3D-PLP-M shortens the time of practical training and opens the possibility to have parts, engines, even complete vehicles in any classroom, to view working cycles or working parts of a structure from within the engine. Trainees can hear the noise of malfunctioning parts. Dangerous processes can be demonstrated and practiced without the need for the presence of students in the hazard. The efficiency of theoretical and practical training improves. E- learning is made more attracting and efficient. This project will also produce an enormous effect in presentations, done for students and teachers, for companies, ministries and other groups interested in education and technology. It would be a milestone in development of vocational education. Description: importance in their case as it helps preventing them from falling out of the labour market. With this method a 3D picture or movie is generated of a part or a process that can be moved without limits. The digital information then presented on either a DVD or in the project web platform. To employ the methodology a comprehensive database is being created that contains all the relevant information that subjects of motorcycle mechanics require. It means 3D scanned images of parts, assemblies and special 3D animations to show certain engine cycles, chemical or metallurgical processes from a viewpoint that could never be showed otherwise and with great detail focused on efficient knowledge acquisition 3

Résultat: These will benefit either the improved quality of education through higher number of students enrolling or the improved knowledge of school leaving students. A better qualified labour is less likely to lose job and generate unemployment problems.
