9 Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 State of the Art It is suggested to do a state-of-the-art overview of earlier works in the field by other authors, and to cite corresponding sources (papers, journal articles, books, etc.), like this [1, 2, 3, 4, 5], and [6]. You should also provide the motivation for this work. 1.2 Objectives and Contributions General description of the work goes here. Outline the problems considered in this work and guide the reader towards the proposed solutions. 1.3 Thesis Outline Present a short overview of the structure of the thesis. 11 2.2 Vieta s Rule In what follows, we provide Vieta s rule in form of a theorem for a polynomial of second order.
