Das Programm macht Menschen mit geistiger Behinderung, um unternehmerisches Denken, Handeln und Problemlösen wirklichen Leben. The Be (Business Enterprise) Inspired Project aimed to promote business enterprise and entrepreneurship for adults with intellectual disabilities (AID), in a way that was both innovative and inspiring. The project enabled the partners involved in the project to take an existing award winning Business Enterprise programme tailoring it to meet the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities, as their was currently no programme available for AID of this type. This programme exposed trainees to entrepreneurial thinking, action and real life problem solving. The Be Inspired Project focused on identifying, documenting, and disseminating best practice in business enterprise and entrepreneurship for people with intellectual disabilities across Europe. OBJECTIVES:- - To develop an accredited business enterprise programme for AID that aimed to make selfemployment a real option and also inspired entrepreneurial spirit and thinking - To develop an enterprise / entrepreneurship course that promoted entrepreneurial thinking, action and real life problem solving for trainees with disabilities. - To Identify, document, and disseminate best practices for entrepreneurship education and thereby increasing AID understanding, appreciation, and support of enterprise. The project also strengthed existing programmes and articulated future needs for entrepreneurship education for AID within the EU. - To promote self employment as a valid career option for people with disabilities - To provide a course on leaving school to advance skills and learning for AID away from traditional paths. The BE INSPIRED project was promoted using an innovative approach to business enterprise amongst the target group but also in the diversity and experience of the partners representing three organisations who were delivering services for people with disabilities, two Further Education Colleges, and a specialist multi-media consultancy SME. Each partner was selected for: - Their specific VET expertise - Experience in working with AID - Experience in the delivery of European funded programmes The overall tangible outcome of the project was the development of an accredited business enterprise course for people with intellectual disabilities using multi media and blended learning. The impact of the project is it will produce a business enterprise programme based on existing materials and targeted at people with intellectual disabilities, which will be marketed effectively through networks including the European Union of Supported Employment and its member countries. Also the course term will be mainstreamed to further education colleges, and Vocational training organisations across Europe, and thereby increasing entrance to labour market. The partnership was originally constituted and worked within a genuine spirit of cooperation and open and frequent communication seeking to learning and develop the Be Inspired Project Together The first work package : Training Needs Analysis involved working with AID/Ds,trainers, employers, parents/carers, and experts across Europe to ensure the correct focus of learning material. A key objective of this work package was to deepen partners existing knowledge of the skills and talents of people with ID and the need of an course to develop and encourage entrepreneurial skills on leaving school This was a fundamental starting point for the project and ensuring that the knowledge was collated to provide a well grounded basis for the development of the training course, to propose principal themes and module titles for the new learning materials of the course, and too identify and disseminate good practice within the VET and voluntary sector, to developing entrepreneurial skill and talent amongst people with ID. A project logo and project website were developed and designed to enhance project identity - and a Twitter account was set up to promote the beinspired_eu. It was agreed by the partners to communication using and to use Basecamp (a project management tool) for all agreed project information and to liaise on project updates. Dissemination contact databases have been established by each country and dissemination to those contacts took place throughout the project. A promotional leaflet was produced and disseminated with an initial project launch at the European Union of Supported Employment (EUSE) bi-annual conference in June 2014, attended by 540 delegates from Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. The project pop up stand was displayed, and the promotional leaflet and newsletter distributed. The project has produced a final project and course called Be Inspired to promote entrepreneurial thinking for people with intellectual disabilities throughout Europe. The programme exposes people with intellectual disabilities to entrepreneurial thinking, action, and real life problem solving. Beschreibung: he TNA provided a research framework which sought to both deepen partners existing knowledge of the skills and talents of people with learning disabilities and the need of an course to develop and encourage entrepreneurial skills on leaving school and to inform the subsequent training course.the TNA informed the subsequent training course as it provided a well grounded basis for the development of the course by: proposing the principal themes and module titles for the new learning materials in Be Inspired course identifying good practice within the VET and voluntary sector for developing entrepreneurial skill and talent among people with learning disabilties. It also provided information from trainers of people with ID. The TNA demonstrated that entrepreneurial training programmes for AIDs are much needed. Entrepreneurial training courses for adults with intellectual disabilities are not a very regular feature in any of the partner countries. According to the trainers, these kinds of courses are truly needed. Most of the trainers felt that a new entrepreneurial course would be beneficial if it clearly answered the need of AIDs. AID's themselves expressed a desire to learn entreprenurial skills. Members of the focus groups has mostly not been taught about selfemployment. Yet, they express clear desires to become selfemployed. Beschreibung: An External Evaluation of the Be Inspired Project containing: - Progress made towards the contractual outcomes - The manner in which the partnership performs as a transnational collaboration - The extent of the inclusion of the target group in project planning and activities - The effectiveness and impact of dissemination and exploitation activities. An Interim Evaluation Report in conjunction with the external evaluator has been completed and submitted. This involved: o Consultation of all partners by external evaluator. o Review of all work plans and monitoring reports by external evaluator. o Preparation of interim evaluation report. o Distribution to all partners and to national agency In order for the quality management and evaluation process to reach maximum effectiveness, an independent, the external evaluator is considered essential. The selection of an appropriate evaluator with experience in reviewing European funded VET projects provided not only a means to accountability based evaluation but also the possibility for further learning by the partners. For this reason the focus of the evaluation is on progress made towards the contractual outcomes, the manner in which the partnership performs as a transnational collaboration, the extent of the inclusion of the target group in project planning and activities, and the effectiveness and impact of dissemination and exploitation activities.
