The aim of the project is to develop an open source software tool integrated in LMS(s), which is suitable to assess the teaching quality management of elearning training programmes and training materials for supporting the application of the quality measurement tool for institutions dealing with vocational training and which therefore can promote the establishment and development of quality culture. The innovative aim of the project is to develop a software tool for the evaluation of the training materials in LMS on the basis of research work result and quality assurance methodology will be formed in this project. The advantage of the integration of the evaluation system and LMS is that it can store the answers related to the quality simultaneously when the training material pages are displayed on the screen. Furthermore, it offers for developers and teachers an opportunity to display statistically the results in the LMS(s) which helps to evaluate them. The innovative content means the development of an up-to-date and interactive elearning tool which helps that quality assurance of elearning training material development in VET institutions can be carried out. In the framework of the project we have carried out the evaluation of open source e-learning platforms and determined on the basis of a particular criteria system which platform is most suitable for teaching vocational training quality management. The research report contains the establishment of the evaluation criteria system and the determination of indicators. 8 Produkt 'iqtool software' iqtool - Innovatives E-Learning-Tool zur Qualitätssicherung in der beruflichen Bildung im VET ( LLP-2007-HU-LEONARDO-LMP) Produkttyp: Titel: iqtool software Marketing Text: The aim of the project is to develop an open source software tool integrated in LMS, which is suitable to assess the teaching quality management of elearning training programmes and materials. Beschreibung: The iqtool project develops an innovative content and software tool to support quality of vocational training and elearning. In order to meet this goal, several quality assurance systems had to be identified and their applicability to the institutions dealing with elearning had to be studied. Moreover, in order to ensure the fulfilment of the project s aim, research work had be done in order to develop a quality assurance methodology that will be further used in order to develop appropriate training material for the project s target groups. iqtool will develop a software tool for the evaluation of the training materials in LMS according to the quality assurance methodology. Zielgruppe: The target groups of the project are VET institutions which apply elearning as a mode of instruction. This group contains the users i.e. the leaders, quality management officers, tutors and teachers of VET institutions. The target group includes e-learning content developers involved in e-learning content preparation. These target groups will be able to improve the quality of their vocational trainings and to increase the effectiveness of their instruction. Among the management bodies, e-learning content developers and users there can be seen a distinct demand for modern quality management which require the application of the developments aimed at in the project. Anwendungsbereich: Resultat: Please find attached 3 files containing reports on the project. The software tool to be developed will be integrated with an appropriate open source LMS and should be general enough and appropriately designed so that it could be integrated with other LMS in the future.
