Multiple remte lcatins can cmmunicate data back t a central lcatin with the use f the included Client and Server Gateway Cmpnents. Energy Mnitr Aimed at helping rganizatins reduce their carbn ftprint, meet internal energy saving targets and reduce peratinal csts, the new Energy Mnitr cmpnent tracks all pwered-n systems acrss the enterprise, highlighting their energy cnsumptin and assciated csts. Wrking day hurs can be defined making it easy t identify ut f hurs wastage. Active Directry Integratin Full Active Directry Integratin is prvided in v3. 4 Cnsle Rles Access rights fr Cnsle Operatrs are nw cntrlled by defined prfiles r Rles. Once created the Rle can be assigned t multiple peratrs. Rles can be linked t a Windws Grup and are relevant when Active Directry is being used. Change PC Owner When EMS cnnects t a Client PC fr the first time it will autmatically bind the lgged n user as the PC Owner. A new Bind Users dialg allws yu t manually change the PC Owner details if this is nt the permanent wner. User Interface - Enhanced The CrssTec EMS User Interface has been ttally refreshed fr versin 3. Included amng the changes is the intrductin f separate PC and User tree views, making it easier t distinguish between the physical asset and items assciated with the user (such as Internet and Applicatin usage), as well as a cmpletely new navigatin bar and dynamic cmpnent "actin panels". Sftware Inventry Enhanced The newly intrduced Installed Prgrams ptin mirrrs the add/remve prgrams structure f yur Client machines, detailing the license levels fr the displayed applicatins. CrssTec EMS nw features three level sftware inventry : Sftware Prgrams (eg MS Office), Sftware Applicatins (eg MS Wrd) and Sftware Resurces (eg Letter.dc) It is nw pssible t remve a Single Applicatin frm an Applicatin grup rather than having t unmerge the entire grup f Applicatins. Check and Uncheck buttns have been added t the Applicatins list, this means that after selecting multiple Applicatins frm the Sftware Applicatins list yu can nw use the Check r Uncheck buttns t hide r shw the selected Applicatins in the Sftware Inventry List. License Administratin - Enhanced The prcess fr assigning license infrmatin t a PC s asset data has been refined. New Leasing Administratin and Maintenance Administratin dialgs have been added enabling peratrs t quickly assign licenses t any number f PCs. Internet Metering Enhanced Supprt fr Sub-Url s added allwing yu t restrict bth cmplete and specific pages within a website. It is nw pssible t apply all fur levels f Internet Access t Departments in half hur Blcks, including Unrestricted Access, Apprved Sites nly, Blck restricted Sites and Blck All Sites.
