4 933: DIGITAL MALITUATION (CREATIVE) Entry Fee $5.00 per Entry - Only one entry per Exhibitor 1 st Place: $50.00 Print Voucher 2 nd Place: $30.00 Print Voucher Open (any subject) Print size for this section is 8 x12 only This section is for all Exhibitors who wish to change a photo using Digital Software (eg Photoshop or similar) also includes HDR. The photo or photos within the image must be all the work of the entrant 934: SELFIE S Entry Fee $1.00 per Entry Maximum three entries 1 st Place $15.00 Print Voucher 2 nd Place $10.00 Print Voucher Photos taken of yourself on a mobile phone NO matt board required Print size 6x4 only CONDITIONS No work previously exhibited at the Goulburn Show will be accepted. Only photos printed on photo paper will be accepted. No Computer Copy Paper will be allowed. No Laminated Paper Prints will be allowed. Photos to be mounted on BLACK or White HEAVY cardboard, matte board preferred. All photos must be firmly fixed to the cardboard. Any photos that come unfixed will be taken down and not displayed. Please stick at least four hook (Velcro, make sure it sticks to carpet, please) spots to the corners of the mounting boards of your photos (no staples, pins or thumb tacks will be used to hang the exhibits). No multiple images (triptych allowed, see definitions) to be entered as one photo. Pictures to be printed to the paper size, no borders. Print sizes that will be accepted are: no smaller than 5x7 inches (except for section 957 Selfie s) and no larger than 12x18 all sizes are in inches. (NO 6X4 PHOTOS, except for section 957 Selfie s) No photos under glass or framing of any sort. All photos are to have the section and class number, owner s name, address and contact details on the BACK of mounting board. Entrants are limited to a maximum of THREE ENTRIES per class. The steward reserves the right to transfer entries into the correct class if deemed to be entered it the wrong class or section. All work must be original work of the exhibitor and not copied from magazines, books or the internet. The judge s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If there are no more than three entries in a class only first prize will be awarded. All copyright laws will be adhered to. Any entries not applicable to the above rules will not be displayed or judged. Exhibitors MUST enter the Professional section or the Amateur section, one or the other, you cannot put entries in both sections. Professional Photographers cannot enter the Amateur sections.

5 NOTE TO ALL EXHIBITORS: - Please stick at least four hook (Velcro, make sure it sticks to carpet, please) spots to the corners of the mounting boards of your photos (no staples, pins or thumb tacks will be used to hang the exhibits). These rules are necessary to be fair on all exhibitors who go to a lot of time and expense to prepare their photos in a professional way. If two exhibitors finish with the same point score, the exhibitor with the most first place awards shall be deemed the winner. The Goulburn AP&H Society Inc; assures intended exhibitors that the greatest care will be taken with all work submitted BUT NO RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE ASSUMED FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE to entries during transit or at the show ground. Judging: Most Successful in Photography Points scoring system will be used: 1 st place - 3 points 2 nd place - 2 points 3 rd place - 1 point NO POINTS AWARDED FOR CLASS 933 DEFINITIONS AND EXAMPLES Monochrome A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black and white work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black and white category e.g. Sepia. On the other hand a black and white work modified by partial toning or by the addition of one colour becomes a colour work to stand in the colour category. This includes Sepia. Triptych The photographs are usually arranged with a plain border between them. The work may consist of three separate images that are variants on a theme, or may be one large image split into three.
