3 Applicatin fr a Study Permit Abu Dhabi-specific Checklist In additin t the dcuments requested n the Dcument Checklist Fr a Study Permit (IMM 5483) yu must als prvide the fllwing dcuments, if applicable. Any dcument nt in English r French must be accmpanied by a certified translatin. Failure t submit all required dcumentatin may result in the refusal f yur applicatin r prcessing delays. D nt send yur applicatin befre receiving yur letter f acceptance frm a Canadian schl. Yu must submit: Valid passprt r travel dcument Each persn travelling, including children must have their wn passprt. Passprts must have at least ne blank page and be valid fr at least ne mnth frm the date yu intend t leave Canada. NOTE: Certain applicatins take several weeks t prcess. If the prcessing time fr yur categry exceeds 2 weeks and yu d nt wish t submit yur riginal passprt fr the duratin f the prcessing f yur applicatin, yu must prvide a phtcpy f the cmplete pages f yur passprt. If yu are a resident f Pakistan r Afghanistan submitting yur applicatin thrugh visa applicatin centres in Islamabad, Lahre r Karachi, please include a cpy f yur current and previus passprts including the bigraphic page and all pages that are nt blank. Gulf residence visa If yur mst recent Gulf residence visa is nt affixed n yur valid passprt, please prvide a cpy. Prf f sufficient funds t cver yur tuitin and living expenses fr at least ne year in Canada. In additin t the cst f tuitin, yu shuld have at least CAD $10,000 available t cver yur living expenses; an additinal minimum requirement f CAD $4,000 must be added if a spuse r partner is accmpanying the student, as well as CAD $3,000 per accmpanying child r ther accmpanying dependent. Please submit: Supprting dcuments t demnstrate a reliable surce f funds cnvertible t Canadian dllars : letter f undertaking and financial dcuments frm parent r spnsr; fficial letter f schlarship r financial award; investments; incme frm rental prperties; bank statements cvering several mnths, etc. if yur tuitin has already been paid, prvide prf f payment. Cpy f yur Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), yu are destined t the Prvince f Québec. A cpy f yur emedical frm, if yu have cmpleted upfrnt medicals. Minrs travelling alne r with nly ne parent yu must prvide prf f custdy r a cnsent letter frm yur nn-accmpanying parent. Cnsent letters must be accmpanied by a cpy f the nn-accmpanying parent s civil identity dcument with signature (e.g. bigraphical passprt with the signed signature page). If yu have answered yes t any f the backgrund infrmatin questins n the applicatin frm, prvide a cmpleted and signed Schedule 1 frm (Applicatin fr Temprary Resident Visa IMM 5257B) and include it with yur applicatin.
