2 - Participants - Contest Rules BALKAN JUNIOR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 Boys born (17 & 18 years old) Girls born (16 & 17 years old) The competition will be held under the Rules of FINA. In individual events 2 (two) swimmers per country and per event may be entered. In relay events 1 (one) team per country and per event may be entered. According to the FINA rules, the composition of relay teams shall be declared 1 hour before the beginning of the session in which the race will take place. The points score in the team competition for the events shall be as followed: INDIVIDUAL EVENTS RELAY TEAM EVENTS 1st place 9 points 18 points 2nd place 7 points 14 points 3rd place 6 points 12 points 4th place 5 points 10 points 5th place 4 points 8 points 6th place 3 points 6 points 7th place 2 points 4 points 8th place 1 points 2 points - Transportation Costs Each Team is responsible for their travel costs to and from Istanbul. Airport Transfers will provide the transfer of the delegations free of charge at the arrival and departure days, only to the National Federations who have fulfilled and have returned the Travel Form in due time. Official Airports Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST) (6 km-15mins to the official hotel) Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) (65 km-90mins to the official hotel) are the official airports. - Opening Ceremony The opening ceremony will be on 23 April 2015, at 17:15 hours at the swimming pool before the beginning of the second competition session. - Technical meeting Technical meeting will be on 22 April 2015 at 20:00 hours, at the hotel meeting room;

The first three teams in the overall ranking will receive Trophy. - Dates of Interest Entries must include entry times achieved in the 50m pool.
