2 ANNOUNCEMENT: From February the "The Hague Gold Grand Prix Foundation" will organize the 2nd edition of the The Hague Gold Grand Prix International Swimming Meet. This 2nd edition of a 3-day swimming event, organized with support of the Hague Topsport, Speedo, SportEmotion, swimclub Racing Club and many partners is a next step in developing the Hague as one of the swimming capitals of the Netherlands. We are proud to announce that this event has been selected as a qualifying event for the upcoming European Championships for the Dutch National Paralympic Swimming Team. Since last year s world record race at the 400m IM the Dutch Paralympic team will return with their top swimmers. We hope to attract top teams from other nations The objective is to organize an international event with participation from swimclubs all around Europe and to focus on current and future swimtalents. The program will be attractive for all age categories Features:: Attractive program for all age groups (females born 2003 and later and males born 2002 and later Heats and Finals for different age groups Focus on 50m & 400m distances on Friday night 8 lanes 50m pool with Electronic Time System Meet program covering all distances of 50m - 400m European Championships qualification meet for Dutch National Paralympic Team General conditions for participants: The meet is open for all swimmers born in 2003 (females)/ 2002 (males) or earlier. Swimmers born in 2003 (females) and 2002 (males can not register for the 400m medley and/ or 200m butterfly). Qualifying times are 50m times. Times swum after can be used to enter the meet Duration of Heats are set at a maximum of 4 hours. The one-start rule applies for this meet. Per age group the 8 fastest swimmers will qualify for the finals. Withdrawal for the finals can only be done in writing, up to 30 minutes after the announcement of the results. For each final two reserve swimmers will be listed in the final schedule. Time registration with the use of the Electronic Time System. There will be a possibility to warm-up and cool-down in a separate pool. The Ducth Swimm Association- and FINA rules will apply for this meet. In any case these rules do not apply, the organizing committee of the meet is responsible. The organizing committee can change start- and end times if needed according to registrations for the meet. Swimmers from Racing Club and partner organizations will be given priority to enter the meet.

Registration will only be complete after we have received registration from swimmers and payment of registration fees. Free programs will be available, 1 for each group of 10 swimmers. Startlists Preliminary start lists will be published on the meet webite on February 10, Cancellations per session are possible until Sunday February at 20:00. Reimbursement of registration fees are not possible for cancellations after this timeslot..the organizing committee is entiteled to fill empty lanes.

Parking is possible at the parking lot of the train station Ypenburg. The Hofbad is within walking distance of the train station (500m) Parking sports will be reserved for handicaped swimmers.
