We are glad to inform you that the Skeet & Trap Shooting Association of Thailand (STAT) will organize the 40 th South East Asia Shooting Championship Shotgun Events 2016 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand. 2 GENERAL INFORMATION GENERAL INFORMATION Introduction The Skeet & Trap Shooting Association of Thailand will organize the 40 th South East Asia Shooting Championship Shotgun Evnets 2016 in Huamark Shooting range, Bangkok, Thailand. The competition will be held from 20 th 30 th October Events Men s Individual and Team events Trap Men Double Trap Men Skeet Men Women s Individual and Team events Trap Women Skeet Women 125 targets 150 targets 125 targets 75 targets 75 targets Participation Participation of shooters are as follows :- i) Team - One (1) team per country (Team of 3) ii) Individual - Maximum of three (3) shooters per event per country iii) Medals - Individual Medals will be awarded to three shooters of different participating countries with the highest scores. Team Medals will be awarded to the first three participating countries.

Payment of Entry Fee Payment of the entry fee, inscription, final entry verification and accreditation will be carried out at the Range, not later than 19 th SEP All payments have to be made in USD. Unfortunately, credit cards or personal cheques will NOT be accepted. It is also possible to pay in advance by remittance from a bank to SKEET & TRAP SHOOTING ASSOCIATION OF THAILAND. 4 Immigration and Custom Requirements Countries which require entry VISA to Thailand should apply to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in their country before departure. If you need a specific Invitation Letter to apply for a VISA, please inform us one (1) month before arrival in Thailand, but not later than 20 th September The Invitation Letter will be sent out by fax and/or . There are strict firearms and ammunition requirements in Thailand, Please carefully observe all the requirements hereafter specified: The enclosed FIREARMS FORM must be filled in and submitted forthwith. A copy of this FORM shall be kept by the team leader, who shall present it if required, on arrival to and departure from Thailand. Accommodation Participants are advised to stay at the Official Hotel for the purpose of security and convenience during the Championship. The official hotel is Grand Mercure Fortune. Rates per room are as follows: HOTEL(*****) SINGLE TWIN Grand Mercure Fortune Hotel USD USD EXTRA BED - USD 40 Note: Deluxe room category Price per night, breakfast, taxes and wi-fi internet included i) Rooms will be allocated on first come first serve basis. ii) 50% deposit to secure booking to be made by 15 th September 2016 to Skeet & Trap Shooting Association of Thailand who will confirm the booking upon receipt of the 50% deposit. All payment have to be made in USD. Unfortunately, credit cards or personal cheques will NOT be accepted. One night rate will be charged (according to the number of rooms booked) from the deposit if cancellation is made after 20 th September Balance of deposit will be refunded.

5 Food Cost of food shall be the responsibility of every individual. Wide range of international cuisine are easily available at the official hotels and shopping malls nearby. Selected food are available at the range. Travel and Transportation Port of Entry All participating countries are advised to book their flight direct to SUVARNABHUMI International Airport Bangkok. Reception will only be arranged at SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT. Transportation Transport will be arranged on arrival from SUVARNABHUMI International Airport to the range to leave the guns and then to the Official Hotel. Airport pick up Transportation to the Official Hotels (and back for departure) All team leaders must confirm their departure details at least 48 hours in advance. Please contact the Organizing Committee / Administration Office at the shooting range. Local Transportation Shuttle Service Local transportation between the official hotel and the shooting range will be arranged by the Organizing Committee during training and competition days only (20 th OCT - 30 th OCT 2016). Delegations who are not staying in the official hotel, will not have shuttle service neither airporthotel-airport nor hotel-shooting range-hotel. Firearms and Ammunitions i) All participating countries MUST fill in Form D and return it to the Organizer latest by 10 th September Any changes made must be informed to the organizer as soon as possible. Bring along your local firearm licenses. ii) iii) Firearms must be stored at the Armory of the shooting range. Storage of firearms and ammunition at any other venues are PROHIBITED and is a serious offence according to the law of the country. Ammunition will be available at the range, - Armusa no 7.5/9.5 at a cost of USD per box of 25 rounds respectively. - Armusa Gold no.7.5/9.5 cost of USD per box of 25 rounds respectively. It is NOT allowed to bring your own ammunition to Bangkok due to customs strictly control.

6 Awarding Ceremony The Award Ceremonies will be conducted daily after the finals at the awarding area in the shooting range. During Ceremonies the athletes are required to present themselves in their official national uniform or national tracksuits (top and bottom). National Anthem and Flag Please bring along your national anthem (CD) and two national flags (100 cm x 150 cm) for the ceremonies. Team Managers Meeting The Team Manager s Meeting will be held at The Meeting Room, 2 nd Floor of the club house at am, on 21 st October Weather Information During the month of October, the weather in Bangkok is very pleasant with sunshine and clear sky. The temperature is expected to be between c during the day and c during the night.
