1 Configuring Microsoft Outlook Express with SSL Step 1: Change your initial Clarity WebMail password: 1. Access your Clarity WebMail at or.net.org.biz extension Example: Clarity Connect s web site name is clarityconnect.biz. We access our Web Mail at To get to your Clarity WebMail you would simply substitute your web site name and the appropriate extension.com or. net or. org or.biz 2. Once you are at the Clarity WebMail page, type in your address as provided in the Mailbox Name field: 3. Type in the Password field the initial password changeme. Then click Login. You now have access to web You will now change the initial password changeme to a secure password of your choosing. In the upper right hand corner of the screen click Options. 5. Then locate on the WebMail Options screen, Password Management. Click Password Management. 6. Under Password Modification type in the Current Password field the initial password changeme. 7. In the New Password field type in your new password. Note: Record the new password and keep it in a secure place as you will need it when you configure your computer In the Confirm Password field retype your new password then click, on the right side of the screen, Save Changes. You have successfully changed your password and are now ready to configure your computer !

Launch Outlook Express 2. Click Tools --> Accounts, The Accounts window appears 3. Click the Mail tab 4. Click the Add button then choose Mail, the Internet Connection Wizard appears. 5. Add your Display Name. Enter the name you want others to see in the From: field when you send , then click Next.

Do not change the value beside "My incoming mail server is a". It should remain set to POP3. 8. Input the POP3 server (webmaillogin.com) into the Incoming mail server field. 9. Input the SMTP server (webmaillogin.com) into the Outgoing mail server field. Click Next. 10. Enter your complete address (mailboxname@domainname.com) in the Account Name field

Note: You can set Outlook Express to remember your password if you don't want to type it in every time you check for new messages. 12. Click Finish, the Internet Connection Wizard will close. 13. The Internet Accounts window should still be open. If it is not, click Tools --> Accounts to open it. 14. Click the Mail tab, the Mail Accounts window appears 15. Click the account you just created, then click the Properties button

Check the box, "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" for both the Incoming (POP) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail servers. 21. Click OK 22. Click Apply, then OK to close the properties window. The Internet Accounts window will reappear.

Note If you will be using your WebMail POP account as your primary account, click "Set as Default". The new account's Type should change from "mail" to "mail (default)". Click "Close" and you're done! You can now send and receive using your new POP account.
