3 Online banking guide of Welcome to Macquarie s fast, simple and convenient online banking guide that helps you stay in control. This booklet will help you to navigate our online banking site and transact on your Macquarie accounts. To get started, you will need your Macquarie Access Code (MAC) that was sent to you. If you have forgotten or you don t have a password, select the reset password function on the login screen.

4 Online banking guide of Accessing online banking for the first time Shortly after the opening or settlement of your Macquarie account you would have received your Macquarie Access Code by letter or . Using this information, please follow the below instructions to log in and view your account. Steps Go to online.macquarie.com.au Enter the Macquarie Access Code (MAC ID) and Password and then select Log in. If you don t have a password, select Forgotten Password 4 5 A message will appear advising you that your password has expired. Enter a password of your choice, ensuring it contains at least two alphabetic characters and must not repeat the same character more than three times. Select Continue. Before proceeding, please ensure you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of using this service. You will now be taken to the front page of Macquarie Online. [ ] If you are a first time user, you will then be prompted to register for Macquarie s two-factor authentication security service. This is a mandatory service which adds extra security to your account by sending you a secure code to your mobile to authorise transactions. You will need to have your mobile device handy and your address and mobile phone number.

5 Online banking guide of How do I register for two-factor authentication? All clients who use Macquarie s online banking will be required to complete the two-factor authentication one-time registration process. Upon log in, you will be presented with a two-factor authentication registration page. Steps Enter your mobile phone number. Select Send code. Enter the SMS safe code that has been sent to your mobile phone number. Select Confirm. Enter your address. Select Confirm. Select secret questions and enter answers. Select Confirm.

6 Online banking guide 4 of Home page From here you can explore the dashboard which houses a number of tools to track your spending, activate your card, manage payments, bulk update categories and nick-name payees. You can also access all of your accounts by using the menu on the left hand side. If you can t find what you are looking for, try the search bar. 4

7 Online banking guide 5 of Managing your profile Steps My profile allows you the ability to change your preferred name, add or change your profile picture and change your online password and username. Select your name at the top of the browser on the left hand side. Select My profile. Choose what you would like to update. You can access your accounts on the left hand side of the home page. 5

8 Online banking guide 6 of Transaction history You can view a complete listing of your recent transactions before your statement has been produced. Steps Select the account type. Select which account you d like to see the transactions for on the left hand side of the screen. Your transactions will then appear. You can then print or download the transaction listing using the dowload or print buttons on the right hand side. 6

9 Online banking guide 7 of Statements [ ] Access your statements online and avoid a $.50 paper statement fee. You can change your statement delivery preferences by selecting Statement preference. Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to launch the statement. Steps 4 Select the account type title. Select the account. Go to the top right hand side and select the blue Statements button. Select the relevant statement PDF you d like to see. 7

10 Online banking guide 8 of Manage account The manage account tab will display the full account details for your selected account. Steps Once you have logged in, select the account on the left hand side that you would like to view, select Manage account in the top right corner, then select Account details. This tab provides additional account details including: product details, loan limit or balance, repayment type and interest rate type interest rate and charges security details your contact details your nominated accounts list any related accounts any related parties (guarantors) ability to download an Audit Record (cash products only). 8

11 Online banking guide 9 of Payments Steps Select the red PAY button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, then select Make a Payment. 4 5 Select the To account or biller (note existing payees and billers are copied from the older site) or Add Payee. Select the From account. Enter the dollar amount. Choose the date and frequency via the Calendar or the drop down box. 6 Select the blue Pay button in the bottom right corner of the middle section. 7 8 A Confirm Transfer message will appear. Review the details and select Confirm Transfer if correct. You may be prompted to enter a safe code sent to your registered mobile. A further message will appear with Your Payment Request has been successful along with a reference. You can this confirmation to a payee as a receipt if required. 9

Select the frequency you would like the payment to occur using the calendar. Select Schedule payment. Steps to view a scheduled payment Select the red PAY button. Select the orange calendar. A list of your schedule payments will occur. Steps to delete/update scheduled payment Select the red PAY button. Select the orange calendar. A list of your schedule payments will occur. Delete or update. Make changes and select confirm. 0
