2 MIDAS (Member Information Documentation and Authorization System) is a web-based portal which allows you, the provider, ready access to specific service authorization information relating to members you serve, including the ability to download authorized service listings to a spreadsheet. *Microsoft Internet Explorer is currently the only browser supported by MIDAS. The first step in accessing the portal is to obtain a User ID and password. Please contact the Care Wisconsin Claims Department by at providerhelpdesk@carewisc.org to request a User ID and password. Include your Tax ID number, the Primary User First and Last Name and Service Location (s). When your request is completed you will receive a login and link to access the MIDAS portal. 2
3 Please change the System drop-down to Provider Portal, Enter the Login and Password provided by Care Wisconsin. Select Production in the Environment dropdown. 3
4 After you have entered the login information and ensured the drop-downs are correct, click Login. A screen will pop up asking if you would like to change your password. Click OK to change your password. Enter your new password, re-enter the password in the confirm box, and click Submit. Note your new password must contain at least 5 characters, and is case sensitive. Passwords can contain alpha and numeric characters, but cannot contain any special characters (i.e. Your password will expire every 90 days. If you have misplaced your password please the Provider Help Desk to reset your account at providerhelpdesk@carewisc.org. 4
5 After you click Submit, you will be taken to the MIDAS Home page. The Home/Welcome Screen is the first screen viewable upon logging in: To navigate throughout MIDAS, use the blue Menu Bar, which will display additional drop-down menus. Provider Management Click on the Provider Management drop-down in the Menu Bar. The Provider Management drop-down has four choices. They are Provider Demographics, Additional Information, Bed Information, and Provider Contacts. Currently, Provider Demographics and Additional Information are functional. Here are some examples of these two areas. 5

7 Additional Information *If you notice any items that are inaccurate, please contact your contracting representative with any updated information. 7
8 Care Management Click on the Care Management drop-down in the Menu Bar. Upon doing so, your screen should look like this. Currently, the only item available is Search Service Authorizations. If you select Search Service Authorizations, you see this: 8
9 This page allows you to search all open and closed authorizations, authorizations within a date range, by client, by procedure, by authorization number, or a combination of those factors. In the example below, all service authorizations are displayed The file can be downloaded as a CSV file for Excel by clicking the button in the red circle above. You will also see the authorization number, the client name, the procedure, the service start date, and the service end date as noted in the red boxed area above. If you click on the authorization number, further details about the specific authorization will be available for review. See below. 9
10 If you click on the Print Copy button, you can print or download the details of this single authorization. If you click Report Problem, you can send an referencing this authorization to the care team. Note: Claims history is not available at this time. The Return button takes you back to the previous screen. Please ensure you log out and close your browser when you are through using the MIDAS Provider Portal. The Logout is in the upper right corner as circled above. Reset Account If you have misplaced your username or password or need to reset your account please contact the Provider Help Desk at 10
Macs are not directly compatible with Noetix.
