Our YMCA soccer league is a perfect starting point for your young, energetic child to learn how to play soccer. Children will learn the basic skills of kicking, dribbling and team work. Family Fall Festival November 19 6:-8:pm Join us for a moon bounce, festive games, make your own fall trail mix, and prizes. 4 Late Fall Session October 1-December 24 REINDEER RUN Santa Claus is coming to the Lansdowne YMCA on Saturday, December, for the official Ho, Ho, Go holiday race start! This annual favorite consists of: 7:am - 1 Yard Kids Gingerbread Jog (ages -1) 8:am - 5K Reindeer Run 8:5am - 1-Mile Family Fun Walk Race Details: Dress in holiday themed running apparel and bring a canned good for the local food bank. Register by November 18, to get your commemorative event t-shirt. Runners can register for multiple events. Reindeer Runners receive a goodie bag at the end of the 5K race. Prizes awarded for overall male/female and age categories. Family Fun Walk is a non-competitive, fun family activity. Gingerbread Joggers, ages -1, receive a prize at the end of their race. Parents are permitted and encouraged to run with their child and still have plenty of time to leave them with a friend for the 5K. Proceeds benefit the Community YMCA s Annual Campaign. Registration Fees Reindeer Run (early-bird) Through Nov. 18: $2 (shirt included) REGISTER NOW! Generally designated three lap lanes and exercise/water walking lanes unless otherwise noted. Lane ropes will be removed before the start of scheduled classes. FAMILY/OPEN RECREATIONAL SWIM Available for our FP Family Members to enjoy pool time together. Anyone under the age of 18 will be swim tested, no exceptions. All children, 14 and under, must be accompanied by an adult, 18+, in the water. Parents must watch their children and keep them within arm s reach, unless they have passed their swim test. Children under 12, who have not passed our Swim Test, are REQUIRED to wear a PFD and must be accompanied by an adult in the water. Lap lanes may be added/removed at the discretion of the lifeguard. OTHER POOL INFORMATION Lifeguards are in charge of pool safety for all swimmers. Proper swim attire is necessary. Bathing suit required, no cut off or mesh shorts allowed.
