3 Experience what we have to offer Why Longue Vue? We would like to welcome you, and afford you the opportunity to schedule your outing at our National Historic District facility. Our golf course was built in the early 1920 s by Robert White, who designed numerous courses throughout the country; many of which featured picturesque views of the Allegheny River and Master Gardner designed gardens and beds. We believe that our club has premier amenities that strongly differentiate us from others in the Pittsburgh area. Those amenities include: - Opportunity to sell the golf cart placard for a sponsorship. - Opportunity to sell locker name tags for a sponsorship. - Club provided banner for entrance tunnel. - Golf and dining concierge available to assist event organizer. - Access to many of the other wonderful club amenities including skeet field, pool and tennis courts. - Longue Vue will provide a free membership to a golf outing resource organization. - A logoed divot tool for all golfing participants. 4 Frequently Asked Questions Is there a minimum/maximum of players? for groups of players. Is the club flexible on what time our group can start the shotgun? Am I allowed to bring in donated beverages for the course? as a complimentary service, Longue Vue will provide staff to place and maintain stations on the course with your products. Longue Vue can also provide a beverage cart for your donated items if you prefer that option over stations on the course. Can my volunteer drive the beverage cart? from your party to drive the cart, as long as they have a valid driver s license. Can the club provide a cash bar for the event? Do we need to place a deposit? credited to your final bill. A contract will also be provided for you to sign. Does the club have media equipment available? which are all made available to your group free of charge. I have banners to hang; can the club hang them for us? ask that you have any banners on the property at least two days prior to ensure they are properly displayed for your outing. I have Tee Signs for the course; will Longue Vue place those signs for me? Longue Vue is able to place the signage on the course for your outing.

5 I have a specific budget for Food and Beverage, how flexible is the club? suit your needs, and fit into your budget. I want to offer something else that isn t on the menu, is that possible? make your event exactly what you pictured. I have never planned a golf outing before, and need a lot of guidance! planning process. You don t need to know anything about golf to plan a successful event. 6 Golf Outing Formats Golf Outing Formats o If you are unsure of what format your outing would like to use for your golf outing, our Golf Professional Staff will be happy to give you a couple of options based on the size of your field, the ability level of your players, whether or not your players all have handicaps that are easily obtainable. If your field is mixed between skilled and unskilled players and is relatively large we can actually run two formats as long as you let us know in advance which division each team will be playing in. Examples of faster formats for large fields Best ball of four with full handicap (with handicaps) Scramble (without handicaps) Shamble (with or without handicap) Examples for lower ability levels (with no handicaps) Scramble Team Callaway Examples for smaller fields with high ability level Individual Competitions Best two balls of four (with handicaps) Shamble (with Handicap) Once your outing format is determined our staff will place a rules sheet on each cart explaining the game that will be played (this rule sheet will also detail any skill events such as closest to the pin, long drive, longest putt holed that you are running that day). We will also provide each group with a scorecard and with the game, each participant s name, handicap (where applicable along with where his/her stroke holes are), and an area to keep the team score. If there is some special game that you would like to try our Golf Professional Staff will be happy to work with you to make that happen as well. When play is finished, our staff will provide a custom scoreboard and take care of posting the score, tallying the results, and will type up a summary of the results for your event director.

7 Course Overview Longue Vue Clubs layout is one of the most family friendly setups anyone could hope to find. We maintain 5 sets of tees making the course playable and challenging for everyone. Men, Women, Senior s, high handicappers, mid handicappers, scratch golfers, Longue Vue Club has a set of tee s that will be both fun and challenging for your ability level. We are known for the shot vales the course demands. Overall the course places a premium on accuracy off of the tee. Even on holes with wide fairways, it is important to position your tee ball on the correct side of the fairway to open up the green for an easier approach. Longue Vue Club is also known for its exceptionally fast and subtle greens, making it important to keep your approach shot into the greens under the hole. The course is normally in one of the best conditioned courses in the area. While playing our outstanding course it is easy to be distracted. Longue Vue lives up to its name. Perched high on a ridge above the Allegheny River there are several holes that provide views of the river and the surroundings that stretch for miles. The dramatic and picturesque setting for Longue Vue is without equal in Western Pa. Course Pictures

To discuss details of your event please contact: Tim Mink, Food and Beverage Director, at or by phone at ext.209 OR Steve Antenucci, Golf Professional, at or by phone at ext Secure your date by returning signed contract along with deposit. 3. Finalize food and beverage plans atleast 1 month in advance. 4. Guarantee minimum number of participants atleast (10) days in advance. 5. the finalized player list and handicaps (if applicable) to the Longue Vue Club Pro Shop at santenucci@longuevue.org 6. Drop off any items (signs, beverages, etc.) in advance of the outing. 7. Plan to arrive atleast 1 hour prior to your event in order to finalize any outstanding details. 8.
