2 HISTORY Services began trading in 1978 pioneered by our company chairman Len Morris. In more than 35 years of development Chevron has benefited from major re-investment and has gone from strength to strength, building a renowned business in the field of Aerospace support services. From its early roots in the provision of specialist aircraft engineers through to its current portfolio, Chevron has continually invested in its staff and customers alike. Building on a quality ethos, Chevron has achieved both EASA 145 Base and line maintenance approval on many aircraft types, EASA Part145 & FAA Part 145 approvals for component repair and overhaul, EASA Part 21 production approval and ISO 9001 QMS approvals for its Workshop and Recruitment services. The company was registered in 1978 as Chevron Aircraft Services. Services opened a aircraft component paint facility in Maidstone Kent. Services gained Part 145 Approval by the Civil Aviation Authority to cover Line Maintenance of DC 10-10, BAe146/RJ series and ATP Aircraft Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire. Services were granted UAE Base and Line Maintenance Approval to cover BAe 146/RJ Aircraft. Sept 2008 Chevron Aircraft Maintenance Ltd was formed as an autonomous Base and Line Maintenance Organisation Present Day Chevron Technical Services continue to expand our business obtaining approvals for Airbus A320/A330 series and B757/B767 Line Maintenance. Chevron Aerospace was formed, specialising in the manufacture and repair of aircraft structural components Services opened their JAR 145 Approved Workshop for the Repair and Overhaul of Airframe Components Services were granted a variation to the Part 145 Approval by the Civil Aviation Authority to cover Line Maintenance of DC Aircraft located at Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire. After moving to a new storage facility Chevron formed the Logistics department and began to distribute aircraft spares throughout a range of operators Services History Services was formed within the Chevron Aerospace group. Services were granted a variation to the JAR 145 Approval by the Civil Aviation Authority to cover the Line Maintenance of ATP Aircraft located at BAE Systems, Woodford. Services were granted TCCA Base and Line Maintenance Approval to cover BAe 146/RJ Aircraft and the Civil Aviation Authority granted a variation to the Workshop component ratings to include C1, C17 & C18. Chevron begin to operate their own BAE Avro RJ/85 registration G-LENM from Birmingham International Airport to 1985 saw a period of expansion with Chevron gaining many major contracts with a number of airlines and maintenance organisations for the performance of structural modifications and repairs. Services split from Chevron Aerospace to become a completely autonomous business. Services begins its Base Maintenance operation in the Western end of Hangar G2 at Kemble Airfield. 5 EASA PART 21 PRODUCTION ORGANISATION With CNC Routers, Millers, supported by conventional machining and good bench skills, the Chevron Workshop is able to respond effectively to your manufacturing and machining needs, AOG or routine. Although specialising in airframe components, Chevron with good project management will always try to find a solution for your needs; your problems are our challenges. COMPOSITES Chevron now repair and manufacture composite components; with our newly established Clean Room and recent acquisitions of a hot bonding equipment Chevron s composite capability has expanded greatly. 6 CHEVRON AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE EASA PART 145 APPROVED ORGANISATION CAM is an industry leader in aircraft care and maintenance and is a preferred storage location for BAE146 and AVRO RJ type aircraft. We can offer long and short term aircraft storage and a care and Maintenance package to suit, located at your convenience or at our Cotswold airport facility. Subject to your requirements, CAM can offer global maintenance support, or assist in setting up line stations on a temporary or permanent basis. We can also offer Aircraft end of life support, Parting out your asset to regain your valuable spares, extracting hidden potential value left in the aircraft. We can offer this with or without EASA part 145 certification as applicable and manage your spares inventory from removal and certification, to marketing and complete logistics. CAM also operate our own Avro RJ85 in conjunction with Cello Aviation which is available to lease ( this allows us the unique opportunity to be able to support any planned or unplanned downtime on your aircraft, ensuring your operation, where applicable is unaffected. 7 REALTIME ASSET MANAGEMENT LIFE CYCLE ASSET RECOVERY As the UK s first EASA Part 145 approved teardown facility, Chevron Technical Services and GJD, alongside our experienced team of licensed aircraft engineers and aircraft engineering professionals are able to deliver a full range of flexible support solutions in order to assist our customers in meeting their asset recovery targets. Together Chevron and GJD offer a unique menu of services, through our combined MRO capabilities, we are able to support the teardown process from start to finish using our in house expertise. Thanks to our line approvals not only can we provide you with the parts, we are also able to offer engineers that will install them on a worldwide AOG basis. COMPONENT LEASING As a company we are able to offer a range of lease packages to satisfy a variety of requirements from line stations to base maintenance organisations. Our dedicated support team work alongside the customer in order to agree individual lease packages, costs and loan periods. REPAIR & OVERHAUL Together with our in house EASA Part 145 approved workshops we are able to deliver a range of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services direct.
