2 INTRODUCTION This guide outlines the range of information usually required by international aviation insurance Underwriters, to enable them to accurately and fairly assess an airline s risk profile and to provide competitive insurance rates. It is UIB s role, as your specialist London aviation broker, to present this information to international Underwriters. Scope and scale This guide identifies a wide scope of information needed. The airline industry continues to change, so it is likely that other information may be available that can enhance an airline s risk profile. UIB requests that any additional information that may further assist in insurance market negotiations is forwarded to UIB for inclusion in Underwriting submissions. Using this guide For convenience, we have grouped information into several main common sections.
