USA Accommodations & Travel Information We are venturing out west this year and decided on Mesquite Nevada, home of the World Long Drive Championship as well as some of the best golf courses in the US. Along with the amazing golf courses we will be playing, we also choose Mesquite for their commitment to Para Golf and desire to promote our game with the ultimate goal of hosting the World Para Golf Championship. We will be playing three different courses for our Championship, two rounds of golf at Falcon Ridge Golf Club and one round each at the Oasis Golf Clubs, The Palmer and The Canyons. For those of you that are fans of The Big Break, you will be playing the same course that was used for the filming of Big Break Mesquite. In addition to bringing your A game, bring a camera as you will experience some of the most breathtaking scenery on these three fantastic courses. We are also very pleased that the Eureka Hotel & Casino will be hosting all our events, from the Annual Membership breakfast, Pairings Party and Awards Banquet, along with our own NAOAGA hospitality suite so we can have a gathering place to tell tall tales of the great golf we just played. On top of the three events, which all are going to be great, Eureka Hotel & Casino is offering us Deluxe rooms at a discounted price as a way to make sure we can all be at the same location and build a great sense of community for the week. For room reservation please call and mention you are part of NAOAGA. $59+ tax= $71.08 per night Mesquite Nevada is 90 miles east of Las Vegas Airport. We recommend you get a rental car rather than taking a shuttle service. Although all the courses and local attractions are only a few miles from the hotel, they are beyond walking distance. 3 Tournament Information We are playing the same format as last year, which is a 36-hole qualifying for the Match Play Championship rounds. The NQ Cup will be played using your established handicap and we will be awarding prizes for gross as well as net scores. The 2 Man best ball/ alternate shot Shootout for those not still in the championship tournament, held on Thursday, will pair the players based on their scores from the 1 st and 2 nd qualifying rounds. The lowest scoring player will be paired with the highest scoring player and so on. Practice rounds are scheduled for Sunday, June 8 th. Each player is responsible for arranging your tee times. We have arranged discounted pricing for your practice rounds and you are free to choose which course or courses you want to play. Practice round rates for Sunday June 8th: Falcon Ridge: $40 Oasis Palmer: $65 Oasis Canyons: $55 Twilight rates for Sunday June 8th: after 12:00pm Falcon Ridge: $40 Oasis Palmer: $53 Oasis Canyons: $43 Must call to get discounted practice round rates. We are working on some (highly discounted) additional rounds of golf at a few of the other courses in Mesquite, but at this time we haven t secured them yet. We will provide that information as it becomes available.

4 Non-Golf Information Dan & Nedda Aldrich are hosting this event for us and Nedda has multiple activities for spouses/families to participate in. They are working on a few other extra-curricular activities and as we get closer to the event, we will share the information with you. Possible activities include an informal dinner gathering, spa day, day trips to a National Park and several other outdoor activities. This is also a great opportunity to come early or stay after the tournament to visit some of the National Parks and National Monuments that are a short drive away. You can do more extensive research on what is in the area, but here is a listing of places to see: Bryce Canyon National Park, Cathedral Gorge, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Dixie National Forest, Grand Canyon National Park, Great Basin National Park, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Valley of Fire State Park, Virgin River Gorge Recreation Area and Zion National Park. Another nice feature of having our event in Mesquite will be the entertainment available at the three casinos in town, the obvious ability to gamble, live performances and great meal choices of all price ranges. There is also the little town down the road 90 miles, Las Vegas, if you care to add even more excitement to your tournament experience. We have already done a lot of work to make this the world class golf tournament NAOAGA desires to provide to our members and we are really excited for this year s Championship. 6 This year s early bird incentive will give you an opportunity to HAVE YOUR 2014 AM&C PAID FOR!! We are participating in The Honda Classic 2014 Birdies for Children program. Honda gives participating charities 110% of the funds raised in their names. Charities raise funds by soliciting their supporters to make guesses as to how many birdies will be made during the Honda Classic. One guess is $20 or you can donate $50 for 3 guesses. The person who guesses correctly wins a 2014 Honda Insight. Ask your family and friends to donate to the Birdies for Children in your name! You can also pay your entire entry fee of $300 through the Birdies for Children fundraising event and your 2014 NAOAGA membership dues will be waived! So, even if you don t feel comfortable soliciting your friends and family for support, you can pay your own 2014 AM&C entry fees through this promotion and get your 2014 NAOAGA Membership fee for FREE! Share the pic of the Birdies for Children registration and link as it was posted on our Facebook page on your own Facebook page or give your family and friends the link and ask them to donate in your name. Birdies for Children will provide NAOAGA a list of ALL donations and who the funds were donated on behalf of. We would recommend you keep a running list of those family and friends who have pledged to do so on your behalf. Each donor receives an confirmation of their donation. Again, it is important for anyone (including yourself) to fill your name in the Solicited By box on the Birdies for Children donation form as this is how the funds will be credited to your 2014 AM&C entry fee. If the funds donated on your behalf are less than the AM&C, you will be responsible for the remaining balance in order to attend the tournament ($300 funds you raised = balance you owe). If the funds raised in your name exceed the $ AM&C entry fees, THANK YOU!! These excess funds will go back into the organization and used to continue our growth and offering community outreach programs like our Hand for Heroes clinic held in Please be sure to check the box on the registration form if any of your 2014 fees will be paid through participation in the 2014 Birdies for Children program.
