1 VRCA SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Annual General Meeting Event details: Review of VRCA s activities for the previous year; members are encouraged to attend to ensure that their voice is heard. Following the AGM is a Building Business after Business Networking event. Approximately members attend this event. Sponsorship will include a trade booth table at the event, your corporate logo on the online event calendar notice, announcements made to VRCA Facebook and Twitter followers, verbal recognition at the event, as well as 1 month of free advertising space on the VRCA website. Breakfast Meetings Event details: Breakfast Meetings are held every 6 weeks on topics such as industry outlook, presentations on major upcoming construction projects, and updates on industry policies and procurement practices. The format of the session is a 45 minute presentation with 15 minutes of Q &A at the end. Approximately members attend each session. Sponsorship will include a trade booth table at the event, your corporate logo on the online event calendar notice, announcements made in our social media outlets, verbal recognition at the event, and 1 complimentary ticket to your sponsored session. The sponsor may also introduce the guest speaker. VRCA & U40 Annual Boat Cruise Event details: Each year VRCA s U40 Network hosts an evening boat cruise in Vancouver s False Creek area. This event includes a tour along the inner harbour, a fantastic buffet dinner, and mingling opportunities with the best and most talented future leaders in the construction industry. Approximately members attend this event. Sponsorship will include a trade booth table onboard the ship, your corporate logo on both the U40 and VRCA online event calendars, announcements made in our social media outlets (both VRCA and U40), verbal recognition at the event, and 1 complimentary ticket (2 complimentary tickets at the higher level). Note: the lead sponsor may also submit other ways to promote their company and support the event. All final decisions will be made by VRCA. 2 VRCA Annual Golf Tournament Event details: One of the most sought after events of the year, VRCA s Annual Golf Tournament is held at the Northview Golf & Country Club, one of BC s most exciting golf courses. VRCA s tournament offers more than just a round of golf join us for an eventful day filled with great food, prizes and friends and associates old and new. Approximately 288 golfers and up to 300 at dinner. Listed below are the main sponsorship opportunities for your firm to consider. Prizes will also be gratefully accepted in advance and with the final decision made by the Special Events Committee. VRCA is open to discussion on any new and innovative ways one may be able to get involved and support this event. Projected date: June Sponsorship levels: As outlined below Survivor Golf Ball Sponsor Balls would bear sponsors' name or other identifiable markings. Golf balls will be distributed at the sign-in tables at the start of the afternoon round. Corporate logo placed on the dinner centerpieces. There are 2 golf ball sponsors in this category, so each sponsor would have 150 golf ball sleeves with their corporate logo on them (for a grand total of 300 sleeves). Sponsorship cost: 2 sponsors at $2,500 each. Lunch Sponsor Includes corporate logo on the lunch ticket portion of the tournament ticket. Corporate logo placed on the dinner centerpieces. Special events are open but must be approved by the Special Events Committee. Sponsorship cost: $500, or 2 sponsors at $250 each Date: March U40 Mingler Event Details: Usually known as the traditional pub night, the U40 group scouts out a hip venue downtown to meet and catch up on what s new in the construction industry. Partial proceeds of the ticket cover are donated to KidStart, U40 Network s charity of choice Sponsorship cost: $400, or 2 sponsors at $200 each Date: March June & December U40 Volunteer Day at the Zajac Ranch for Children Event Details:. Each year a group of U40 members and their families head out to the Zajac Ranch for Children in Mission to help out with maintenance and repair tasks around the site. The Zajac Ranch for Children provides a safe and enjoyable camp experience for children with serious and chronic illnesses, disabilities and medical conditions, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend camp due to their medical challenges and financial resources. It is an inspiring day, and we encourage those who are interested to participate. Approximately volunteers. The U40 group is currently looking for volunteers for next year s volunteer day. Projects range from landscape to painting to electrical to interior and exterior construction. Sponsorship cost: Cash and in-kind donations of construction materials are welcomed all year round Date: May U40 Benefit Hockey Night, in support of KidStart Event Details: Play hockey and raise awareness for KidStart! KidStart is a program of PLEA Community Services Society where they match up mentor volunteers with children who come from families facing significant life challenges. Approximately 25 attendees. 10 Date: June U40 Night at the Nat Event Details: Help the U40 Network send some very deserving kids and their volunteer kidcoaches to a Vancouver Canadians game at the Nat Bailey Stadium. Proceeds from each ticket will go towards purchasing 10 tickets for kids and their coaches to attend the same game. Approximately 40 attendees.
