1 Arbella 5th International Photo Contest Regulations PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST As Arbella Pasta; This way we get to consolidate our corporate identity with social responsibility and artistic projects. We aim to create a platform that brings together Turkish and all of the world photographers. We are organising to the 5th contest we identified to our 3 categories; "Sharing your food", "Mother and Child Love", "Free" Sharing your food category: We live in the World and we are sharing it with others. Our World is a heaven that as much as we share it s benefits happinees and prosperity will increase sadness and misery will get lost. The most beautiful thing is to share our food with each other, Our family, friends, neighboors etc. Look at the Lions whom live in the Wild Nature. They share their hunts with other Lions upon they get their needs.the most delicious meals are the wants that we share with our friends and valuables around a table. Dear valuable photographers we would like to emphasize the importance of these beauties that we live and we expect your objectives to reflect the same beauties. Mother and Child Love Category: Mother love is the world's most powerful and the old feeling. Before when we come to World we feel the trust and love that mother love is important source of this feeling. While we gether this protective, unrestricted, encourages feeling which even tempers the most wild animal in the World at the photos. We also would like to Show the same from a child s eye since a child is the source of it. We Arbella Pasta Family by rewarding the photographers efforts aiming to focus people s interest to photograph and to be a connection for forwarding photo art to many people. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION A steering committee with Representatives of PAFT, jury members and relatives of the first degree and Arbella Pasta employees must not to participate in the competition. It is forbidden to participate. Participation is free. There are 3 different categories of the competition. Competitors will give 4 (four) photos to the each category. If the photos have previously won the competition of Arbella Contests they will not participate to ARBELLA 2015 competition. The participating photos in JPG format, 300 dpi resolution, the long side should be sent via 1 / 5

2 the website at least 2400 pixels setting. Awards and exhibit space large prints of the photographs will be built by ARBELLA PASTA. Therefore, attention should be paid to the resolution settings should be saved in JPG format with the highest quality recording option. They passed, the photos above will be eliminated even improper recording stage. Studies involving manipulation will not be taken into consideration. Categories of Contest A Sharing your Food (Color or BW) B Mother and Child Love (Color or BW) C FREE (Color or BW) Contestants can use any kind of traditional or modern photographic techniques freely. However, studies involving manipulation will not be taken into consideration. A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey (white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black & white work toned entirely in a single color will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the black & white category; such a work may be reproduced in black & white in the catalogue. On the other hand a black and white work modified by partial toning or by the addition of one color becomes a color work (polychrome) to stand in the colour category. A monochrome image is defined as having varying shades of no more than one color (various shades of that color from very light to very dark) but it may be any single color. Multitoned images (various shades of two or more colors) and greyscale images with an added accent color are not acceptable in Monochrome Class sections and must be entered in Color Class sections. Close up pictures of people or objects must include distinguishable environment. Techniques that add to, relocate, replace or remove any element of the original image, except by cropping, are not permitted. All adjustments must appear natural. Conversion to full monochrome is acceptable. Derivations, including infrared, are unacceptable. A monochrome print is defined as having no more than two colors, monochrome (various shades of grey from black to white) plus one other color. A monochrome print toned in a single color will remain a monochrome work. All photographs must upload to web site. We do not accept print, and CD/DVD. All participants will contact to web site and then join to the Arbella 5th International Photography contest. Participators must become a member to the arbella.tv web site. They must approve the competition regulations. Participators check to approval box they have been accept to the contest rules. If you have any problem when upload\submit the Photos (over the Internet or user-induced errors occur in the system in the event) pls contact the iletişim@arbella.tv address the problem will be fixed as soon as possible. This address is only used if the photo upload problems experienced moments will ocur. You must not send the photographs this . If you send your photos to this , we do not accept. Awarded and the acceptances photos are exhibit in will be exhibited in the area to be determined. Also awarded the prize, honorable mentions and special awards of the photos will be published on the site and TFSF broadcast and will take place on the pages in the book of Almanac / 5

The participant declares and confirms that the work sent for contest is completely his/her own and all permissions are granted & completed. The participants declare and confirm all permissions are taken by them and whole responsibility belongs to them in case of any kind of conflict or disagreement. All usage rights of photographs that have been awarded and exhibited at the contests hall belong to the Arbella Makarna (Durum Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) and the Photographer. The Photographer accepts and undertakes in advance to waive any claims regarding the exhibition of his photograph(s) found worthy of an award and/or exhibition by the Jury, provided that the names are indicated, during the dates to be determined by the Arbella Makarna (Durum Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş.), their use in the catalog to be published following the contest and in the electronic media as intended for the promotion of the contest, and the social media channels, calendar activities and indoor or outdoor publications of the Arbella Makarna (Durum Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) aimed for the customers and the Arbella websites, other than those on award and/or royalties in connection with these. If the participant submits a copyright which does not belong to him/her, executes any alterations or changes on the photo that does not belong to him/her to mislead the jury, the participant will be restricted from entering competitions for a year according to the TFSF(Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey) rules If the participant fails to fulfill these requirements - even he/she wins - the award or title will be taken back from him/her.
