2 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: The Salon is open to all photographers worldwide, amateurs and professionals, except members of the Exhibition Committee and members of the Jury. Participants are kindly requested to start sending photos not earlier than October 01 st, 2013 and not later than November 30 th, Entrants must own copyright of all submitted images. Entrants, by submitting an entry, they certify the works as their own. Images totally created by using computer software or images without any photographic content will be disqualified. In case any violation observed, regarding conditions of entry described above, the participant loses his awards, titles and other benefits. There is no obligation that a replacement award to be chosen in such cases. The Salon will not be cancelled. TFSF and FIAP will be informed in case such a violation occurs. If it is observed that the participant has sent a modified photograph which is proven not belonging to him/her, stolen from other photographers, the participant will be banned to enter any TFSF patronaged Salon for a period of 1 (one) year. As per TFSF Salon Rules, participants who were already banned from TFSF Salons previously, within one year period are not allowed to have an entry to this Salon. If a second violation of rules by same participant who has been banned by TFSF, is recorded, the participant will be banned for a life time period for any entry to TFSF patronaged Salons, as per TFSF Rules. Participants accept that their photographs can be used and / or pubished by MFD for exhibitions and catalogues. Notifications will be sent by only. A member of TFSF will be in charge during the whole organization. ENTRY IMAGE FILES: The images must be sent together with the Entry Form. A maximum of 4 images may be submitted per section. The entrants must use English alphabet characters. The image names must include the first two letters of surname, last 4 digits of telephone number, section and image number. For Example:Semi Ayatar, AY-5050-B2.jpg ENTRY FILE DIMENSIONS AND SIZE: The images must be in Jpeg format. The required maximum horizantal dimension is 1024 pixels and the maximum vertical dimension is 768 pixels. Resolution must be 72 dpi. Please keep your compressed Jpg image file size under 500 kb. There must not be a signature or a signal or date on the images. Entries received without fees will not be taken into consideration and judged. CD CATALOG: The CD-ROM Catalogue, showing acceptances and images, will be posted to each entrants. ACCEPTANCE RESULTS: A listing of awards and acceptances will be posted on the following websites. and The same listing of awards and acceptances will also be published at TFSF Patronaged Salons Almanac, at pages allocated to MFD Salons. In case the Jury decides that there is notworthy entry for award, there will not be any award anounced. ENTRY FORM: The Entry Form must be submitted electronically, thru the Salon Web Site address. Any other form of entries (e.g. s, CD sor prints) will not be accepted. A list of the entries received will be published at the Salon Web Site. This Status list will be updated periodically. So participants are advised to check the Status list for their entries on the Web Site within 2-3 days after they complite their entries. PAYPAL: In case payment is done by PayPal the participant must indicate his / her name and surname, to make sure that they received proper credit at their names. Office Mng. Communication Accountant This salon is patronaged by TFSF, TFSF Patronage Number; TFSF 2013/74 and by FIAP, Patronage number; FIAP 2013/281. DEFINITIONS: MONOCHROME: A black and White photograph, having various tones of grey from the very dark (Black) to the very clear (White) is a monochrome photograph, with the various shades of grey. A Black and White work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in the Black and White category. A Black and White work modified by a partial toning or by the addition one colour becomes a colour work (Polychrome) to stand in the category. FREE COLOR: Should be no interference in the photos except cropping and light corrections.

5 CREATIVE: Creative Photography is is defined as altered realty. The original image must originate as photographs made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired with a digital camera. NATURE: Nature photograph includes photographs describing the observations made in all branches of the science of nature except from the Archaeology and Human Science. The story telling the value of photo is more important than the photographic quality of the photo. Human and the human physiology should not be presented except from the supernatural situations in which human physiology increases the beauty of natural story. The presence of scientific layers on wild animals is accepted. Tricks,plants and animal that are unnaturally prodused, built pieces, and the explicit reformations that ruin the expression of the photo are not accepted. Adding, cloning, deleting, changing, reforming and uniting operations should not be made on the photograph. The tricks and reformations other than fixing the original colour of scene, careful lightening and darkening,cropping and reforming are not accepted. All deblurrings should appear natural. PHOTO ESSAY: The pieces including 6-10 photos which tell a story by completing each other and have colour harmony will be accepted to the Photo-Essay Section. The photographs made by montaging more than one photo,altered,cropped which ruins the orginality of the photo, and changed the colours will not be accepted. The photographs having the operations of framing,lightening,darkening,and colouring which do not ruin the original quality of the photographs will be accepted. The Organization of Commitee of Mersin Photographic Society may ask the participant(s) to send to the Commitee, the original form(s) of the entry photo(s) if need be. WOMEN: Photos with the main subject being the women as indispensable humankind of human societies, taking part at every course of life, No limitation for the photos either monchrome and / or free color. There should be no interference in the photos except cropping and light corrections.
