2 André P. Saadoun Alessandro Pozzi Speaker Information André P. Saadoun, DDS, MS Dr Saadoun received his Degree in Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Paris, and completed his Post-Graduate Certificate in Periodontology at the University of Pennsylvania and Post-Graduate Certificate in Implantology at University of California in Los Angeles. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Southern California. He is also Visiting Professor at the Hadassah, Faculty of Dental Medicine of Jerusalem University. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodonology, a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology with a special Award of 25 years contribution for The American Board of Periodontology, a Member of Honor of the American Dental Implant. He has received the French Medal of Chevalier de l Ordre National du Merite. An internationally renowned lecturer in Aesthetic Periodontology and Implantology, Dr Saadoun has written over 150 articles and several book chapters. Dr Saadoun maintains a private practice in Paris, which is limited to Aesthetic Periodontics and Implant Surgery. Alessandro Pozzi DDS PhD Professor Pozzi was formally trained in the inter-related areas of implant surgery, prosthodontics and laboratory technology. He personally performs both surgical and prosthetic parts of the implant treatment. His expertise focuses primarily on integrated digital workflow in implant dentistry, computer guided surgery and prosthodontics with CAD/CAM technology. Professor Pozzi has been carrying out clinical research to validate cutting edge digital technologies, novel implant design, and minimally invasive immediate implant rehabilitation concepts. As a researcher, he has been selected to receive the 2013 Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award. Formerly Research Scientist and Professor of Oral Rehabilitation at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he currently holds the Interim Chair of Oral Surgery-Implantology at the Marche Polytechnic University, Italy. Faculty Member of the advanced clinical training program in Surgical Implant Dentistry at the UCLA University in Los Angeles and Guest Lecturer in Continuing Education. He has been teaching both specialisation courses and masters programs worldwide and in his own practice in Rome and has lectured at several international congresses.

3 Masterclass Information The ADI welcomes two world renowned Masters, both with decades of experience, to London to deliver a day s teaching reflecting the Art and Science of contemporary dental implantology. Much implant treatment is carried out for mainly aesthetic reasons in the aesthetic zone and preservation or reconstruction of hard and soft tissue can be extremely important to patient satisfaction. Our speakers will show cases ranging from difficult single tooth replacements to full arch immediately loaded reconstructions, emphasising the importance of good treatment planning. New digital technology has seen a rapid advance in imaging techniques and visualisation of the proposed final restorative result, using new biomaterials and precise drill guides to allow less invasive dental implant surgery to be carried out. In the last ten years we have also been able to objectively measure the final aesthetic results of dental implant treatment using indices - PES (pink esthetic score) and WES (white esthetic score). To achieve high scores requires natural-looking teeth framed by healthy soft tissue and this can only be achieved with excellent surgery and precise restorative dentistry. Our Masters presentations will inspire and stimulate thought and debate and we urge our members to book early, as places are limited.
