2 Boston Harborfest is a 35-year-old tradition celebrating Boston s harbor and history. With hundreds of activities over a 4-day period at Boston s best landmarks, this familyfriendly event is the country s largest Fourth of July festival. Activities include the annual opening ceremony at Faneuil Hall, historical reenactments, Freedom Trail walks, Boat Tours, live musical entertainment, fireworks and much more! SPONSORED BY:

3 Boston Harborfest s Signature Events United States Navy Welcome On Friday, July 1st, the City of Boston will welcome a signature War Ship to the North Jetty in the Seaport. To celebrate its docking, Harborfest will host a welcoming ceremony for the soldiers aboard the ship and a festive crew party on Long Wharf on Saturday, July 2nd. Columbus Park Live Entertainment Beginning Friday afternoon on July 1st through Sunday evening, July 3rd, live music and entertainment will regale audiences with their talents in Columbus Park. These acts will showcase the diversity of Boston and the Harbor and History themes that Harborfest prides itself on promoting to the public. Columbus Park Movie Screening On Friday, July 1st, live entertainment will begin in Columbus Park at 6pm and lead up to a family-friendly movie screening on the lawn. Adults and children alike can bring a picnic and enjoy the film framed by the city skyline. Wet Paint Auction Local artists are welcome to sign up for the Wet Paint Auction, where the artists will gather at Columbus Park on the morning of July 2nd. They will scatter along the shoreline in the Harbor and the beloved Freedom Trail to paint scenes of the day. The artists will bring their finished paintings back to Columbus Park Saturday evening to sell at the Boston Arts Festival at Harborfest.

4 Arts at Harborfest Calling local art buffs! On Saturday, July 2nd, local artists will display and sell their art under the trellis, bringing back the beloved Boston Arts Festival tradition to Columbus Park. The arts festival will last until 6pm when live music will take the stage at Columbus Park for an evening concert. Fireworks Various sailors will decorate their boats and light up the Inner Harbor on Saturday, July 2nd. Live music will lead up to an incredible fireworks display over Boston s Inner Harbor. Taste of Harborfest The Taste of Harborfest will bring out a number of waterfront restaurants to showcase and sell their culinary seafood creations on Long Wharf. Starting at 11am on Sunday, July 3rd, live entertainment will play along to this scrumptious seafood festival to bring an air of excitement and culture into Harborfest.
