German Azur-spacecraft s ground stations at Kevo in the 1960, s PhD thesis in late 1950 s Mayday 1985 started the first ever spacecraft science instrument project in Finland ASPERA at FMI for Russian Phobos - through Sweden this was also the starting point of Finnish space industry AD ASTRA PER ASPERA Phobos Mars-96/Metegg Several NASA JPL Mars landers
