For entrepreneurship & regional development overcome local/ regional thought-boundaries; build up international and European cooperation; develop human resources and new ideas; innovate local activities in entrepreneurship & regional development. enable a challenging and interesting work in the field of the partners interest and activities and thus to become more competitive; combine resources and different strengths of partners and become stronger as a network. implement larger activities which a single partner would not be able to implement.

28 BEPART Programme Component 1: Management and co-ordination Component 2: Exchange of experiences Focus: regional development; regional innovation systems; regional entrepreneurship promotion. Component 3: Broadening of common findings Dissemination of new and effective approaches; focus is on regional impact in all BEPART regions. Component 4: Trying out new ways to learn or train entrepreneurial competences. Action learning & reflection groups in BEPART produce practical approaches, e.g. for ToT - training of trainers for an improved entrepreneurship promotion. Component 5: Quality development & evaluation Reflection on activities.

Strategic Idea: performance improvements & international orientation/ exchange in entrepreneurship training & development. Target group: lecturers, trainers, teachers, incubator managers, consultants. Didactics/ Approach: more than a technical training, emphasis on action learning, linking practice and theory, modular concept. Training locations: module-wise at BEPARTners. Certificates & price: module-wise.

34 10 BEPART Propositions on Entrepreneurship Promotion and Education: Towards Entrepreneurial Regions Formulated end of 2006 in BEPART to summarize shortly and easy-digestibly the conference-outcomes; to use shared international ideas as support to better influence regional & local policies; to focus on strategic and basic bottlenecks; to use them for communication purposes.
