From wonky veggies to overripe bananas, we turn everything into delicious meals. Every morning we collect unsold products from Albert Heijn and producers. Think of day old bread or fruits and vegetables with small imperfections. But also surplus meat and fish. Our creative chefs create new delicious meals every day based on what is in stock. Let us surprise you! Oh and.. No worries about food safety. We don t serve food past its expiration date because we are following food regulations. ABOUT INSTOCK Selma, Merel, Bart and Freke met at Albert Heijn. As assistant supermarket managers they saw opportunities in creating a better purpose for unsold products. With support of Albert Heijn they managed to realize Instock. With their restaurant, products and catering they upcycle food surplus and rescue as much as possible. On top of that Instock wants to increase awareness about the topic and help people reduce their own waste. Instock is a social enterprise: any profit is used to pursue our mission. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE If we have leftovers, we use it for our staff meals or we donate it. And if it s inedible, then we split our waste and use the organic leftovers to create biogas. Besides this we also take portion size into consideration. Still too much on your plate? Our staff is happy to provide you with a doggy bag!
