2 For the week of sports, the University Lille1 is pleased to invite you to its first European tournament. Integrated into a festive and sporting week, the tournament lasts for 3 days and includes 8 activities: Kinball, Volleyball, Badminton, Handball, Basketball, Football, Rugby 7 and Archery. You can subscribe to one activity or more, according to your choice. This week is the main event of the SUAPS. This is an original contribution to the development of the campus life, which help the campus to be a place of life and well-being. The European tournament will allow the University of Lille 1 to make themselves known and to have a sports department as well-kwown as the scientific department. Organization : Transportation: Transportation is your responsibility. The Campus of Lille 1 is located in Villeneuve d'ascq, near Lille (Northern France). It is very pleasant and easy access (highway, rail, air). The Campus is served by subway and buses. Accommodation and meals: o For foreign delegations: Free (2 nights + breakfasts + lunches + dinners + evening gala) o For the French delegations: accommodation at your own expense (see your association), supported meals (lunch + dinner + gala) meals are at our expense. o Meals will be taken at the university cafeteria. o Registration: before March 1, 2011, with forms attached. o After registering, a confirmation will be sent with competition schedules. 2

3 ACCESS : By road: Highway A1: nearlille, take the exit Villeneuve d'ascq, then take the exit Cité scientifique. Highway A27: follow the direction of Villeneuve d'ascq and take the exit Cité scientifique. Highway A25: near Lille, follow the direction of Paris, then take the exit Villeneuve d'ascq, then take the exit Cité scientifique. By train: TGV, Thalys, Eurostar: arrival in the train station of Lille Flandres or Lille Europe, take the metro: direction "4 Cantons" and get off at "4 cantons". By Air plane: Arrival at Lille Lesquin Airport, take a shuttle (or taxi) to the Campus. Arrival at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport, take the TGV to Lille, arriving at the station in Lille Flandres or Lille Europe, take the metro: direction "4 Cantons" and get off at "4 cantons". Arrival at the Brussels / Charleroi Airport, take a shuttle (booking is needed) to the campus of Villeneuve d'ascq. 3
