2 Company Overview was formed in 2000 and has since grown to become the largest mover conveyancer in the UK, working with over a thousand Estate Agency branches and some of the leading mortgage brokers across England and Wales. Investment in infrastructure, technology, processes and people, has allowed growth to continue. We aim to deliver an excellent and unique service to all our customers. Enhanced digital document processing, extended opening hours and off-shore support are made possible through our India offices in Pune and Baroda. One of our unique selling points is eway, our interactive online case management service, which blends technology with personal conveyancing. eway minimises delays, keeps clients informed and helps move cases towards exchange and completion by allowing clients to access their case files from anywhere, at any time. The culture could be described as work hard, play hard, but with a family atmosphere. Several employees have been with us since the beginning, all having been presented with 10 year service awards. 5 Rewards & Benefits offers various company benefits for its employees, including: Pension: We offer a pension scheme. Medical Cover: This is single or partner cover. Partner cover depends on your role in the company. This is available after successful completion of a probation period. Bonus Scheme: The company has a discretionary bonus scheme in place. Income Protection Insurance (PHI): Employees are eligible for this when they are absent from work for more than 26 weeks. Life Assurance: This is 4 times an employee s basic salary. This is available from your start date. Holidays: Employees are entitled to 25 days holiday, plus statutory bank holidays. Probationary Period: The probation period lasts for 13 to 21 weeks dependent on the role. Notice Period: Employees are required to give 1 to 3 months notice, dependent on the role. Hours of Work and Shift Patterns: services its clients from 8am - 8pm during the week (except Fridays when we close at 7pm) and also at the weekends; 9am pm on Saturdays and 10am - 3pm on Sundays. Our core working hours are 9am - 5pm during the week with operational shift rotation patterns decided within the teams, after discussion with all parties. Professional Fees: The company will pay for annual fees to the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and other specialist professional bodies. Further Education Assistance: Job related training is funded by the company. Childcare Vouchers: There is a salary sacrifice scheme in place. 6 L & D Academy Our new Learning & Development Academy provides an on-site, comprehensive development programme for all new starters and more experienced candidates alike. Three training rooms, as well as a model office, assist in providing bespoke facilities and a parallel environment for successful learning. All new conveyancers complete up to a six-week programme of activities, designed to ensure that they are fully equipped to utilise systems and provide an excellent level of customer service from the moment they join the team. More experienced candidates benefit from a programme tailored to their specific needs, including an introduction to our award-winning processes. Development and progression doesn t stop there. As conveyancers become more experienced, they are encouraged to take on more varied and complicated work, potentially leading to a Senior Conveyancer role. Last year we invested in a Learning Management System (MHM Virtual Academy), to maximise learning opportunities for all employees. The Virtual Academy enables all employees to participate in learning activities relevant to their role. is also an accredited examination centre and college for the Council of Licensed Conveyancers (CLC). All of our legally qualified staff, solicitors, licensed conveyancers and legal executives undertake regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. We are fully accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in the provision of internal and external CPD training, which we deliver to our qualified staff. All employees, whether employed in conveyancing or non-conveyancing roles can take advantage of the management development side of the Learning & Development Academy. Offering a range of activities and support to ensure that we fully equip both our present and future employees with the skills they need. Trainee Induction: (5-6 weeks) An introduction to - why we are different. On screen tutorial of Solcase - our internal case management system. The Conveyancing Sale Process - a run-through of the full sale process from start to finish with the focus on how we work in a volume conveyancing environment. The Conveyancing Purchase Process - looking at all of the different procedures required to complete a purchase process. Experienced Conveyancer Induction: (1-2 weeks) An introduction to - why we are different. An overview of the Solcase case management system. Model Office - working on live files to practice using this system. Skills gap analysis - any areas where the conveyancer has gaps in knowledge will be analysed and a training programme will be implemented to provide progression opportunities. A further training programme to increase knowledge and enable progression is available once allocated to a team.

Michael Brazier Conveyancing Manager With no experience of conveyancing, or indeed, I joined the company in early 2014 as a Trainee Conveyancer not really knowing what to expect. I have to say it is the best choice I have made professionally. I entered into an extensive training programme, which taught me everything I need to know; from speaking to clients to responding to all manner of legal enquiries. I have found the experience both empowering and enriching, and in addition there is a fantastic Learning & Development Academy, which I cannot recommend highly enough. I moved to the Manchester office in April 2014 and quickly progressed to become an Associate Conveyancer, with responsibility for even more conveyancing cases. The Learning & Development Academy has been replicated within the Manchester office and I worked closely with them to ensure that new employees were trained and were confident in the way that works. On the back of this role I have recently been lucky enough to have applied and been accepted as a Conveyancing Manager. I will very shortly be looking after my own team and I am really excited about the prospect of ensuring everyone really believes in the way of conveyancing and I would recommend joining to anyone. Olu Jatto Advanced Conveyancer Looking back over the last 6 months since I joined, I feel lucky to have joined an organisation which has a clear customer service strategy and is also forward thinking and responsive to technological advancements. My role at has certainly evolved since I started as acting team leader in the Manchester office remortgage team, where I had responsibility for case allocation and signing off files. I am currently making use of my technical knowledge of shared ownership leasehold, equity release schemes and new builds on a new transactional team where I also serve as a buddy mentor. In addition, to help in sharing current remortgage trends and information around the team, I circulate a Policy Buzz twice a week, which is focused on real live-file scenarios together with additional statutory and practice guidance notes. Since moving to, I have found that I usually get to the end of the day wondering where the time has gone as days fly by very quickly but also enjoyably.

9 My journey at began in March 2012, when opportunity knocked on my door and after two successful and progressive years, I chose to step away from the firm to try new opportunities at a competitor. However, in hindsight this wasn t the best of decisions and within a few months I was back! The time away did make me realise that is not just the biggest but is also the best conveyancing firm to work for in the UK. 11 Community Spirit We are committed to supporting good causes and charities that help to provide support, shelter and accommodation for children and adults, in the communities within which we operate and beyond. Charitable Trust The Charitable Trust was set up in 2013, to bring together the charitable activities being conducted across the company. Money raised for the trust is distributed to our chosen good causes, which fall into two groups. Do The Right Thing and Other Causes. Do The Right Thing Do The Right Thing (DTRT) is the internal name we give to the work that we do for the good causes and charities that staff support. DTRT grew from the personal passion of our people, to be a force for good for those less fortunate than ourselves. DTRT supports three good causes, all of which have had personal, as well as financial support from staff in various parts of : The Bridge Homeless Shelter in Leicester city centre provides a safe and warm place for many of the city s homeless. The Snehalaya Children s Home in India cares for and educates 50 children with cerebal palsy and multiple disabilities. The Peristera Orphanage in Sri Lanka provides a home for 40 abandoned children.
