4 The Tata Communications global network is the world s largest wholly-owned subsea fibre network with more than 500,000 km of subsea fibre and more than 0,000 km of terrestrial fibre. CONNECTING THE AMERICAS TO THE REST OF THE WORLD We offer leading Global VPN, WAN Ethernet and IP transit services to connect your business and your customers to the rest of the world. GLOBAL VPN We have direct access PoPs in North America and network partner PoPs into 4 counties within South America. These are all connected to our Global VPN service, which is available in over 70 countries worldwide. Our refresh of all GVPN services means that customers in the Americas will be able to manage applications across their (and their customers ) networks. This service will guarantee a level of application performance and enable visibility within the core of the network. Our NNI partners in South America enable us to deliver an end-to-end solution into this market so that you and your customers can manage your network services through one provider. DEDICATED ETHERNET We have the most comprehensive Ethernet portfolio on the market with 8 dedicated PoPs across North America. These are connected to our global Ethernet services in 5 countries. And they re also part of our next-generation Ethernet network that enables us to support a vastly increased number of VLANS and MAC addresses, and scale easily to meet future demand. There is also a dedicated team working in our Ethernet lab and Engineering facilities, based in North America. This means you can have access to local expertise to help you craft the best solution for your customers. IP TRANSIT There are 38 direct access PoPs across North America that are connected to our global IP network and are capable of delivering up to 00GB ports to service providers. This provides a high-speed, secure and reliable internet connection via our Tier- global backbone that reaches more than 30 global PoPs and serves customers in over 70 countries.
5 Our partnerships in South America enable us to serve traffic into the region, so that we can work with you and your customers to reach, and grow within, these countries. From the Americas region, we can enable your customers to access the emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa and India via fully diverse paths on our wholly-owned cable system.
