PACKAGING, CONTRACT MANUFACTURING & PRIVATE LABEL This section is dedicated to the entire beauty industry production supply chain from raw materials to machinery, formulation to packaging, including contract manufacturing, private label, as well as business tools and POS systems. PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY Dedicated to the professional distribution channel, this section showcases everything found in the salon and spa world, including professional hair or nail care, styling products, accessories, implements, tools, equipment, furniture, and attire. 7 EXPERIENCE The onsite sampling bar allows attendees to personalize their own beauty box. This novel concept gives visitors the ability to select from 20 different products and pick 7 for their own customized box. Donations provided onsite are given to charity organizations; over $15,000 was donated in 2015 to City of Hope. The keepsake tin box was created in collaboration with HCT Packaging. The Interactive Experience Area created a total immersion mood-altering sensorium that married the visual (chromatheraphy) with scent (fragrances to match the color moods) as well as the auditory sense (music to match the color moods). Attendees got to take an interactive test to get personalized color, sound and scent, creating an experience that is unlike anything else! A special collaboration with Drom & mycoocoon. This area is a showcase for unique digital platforms and tools that seek to help brands connect with consumers online. This past edition featured solutions from: FaceCake Marketing Technolgies, Inc., Good Apple Digital, and Hone.
