1 Introduction and General Overview RecordPoint Is the only 100% SharePoint 2010 COTS solution that meets the requirements of ISO and ICA2: ISO and will perform as required today and moving forward. The team at RecordPoint has substantial experience delivering over 100 information management solutions on the SharePoint platform. RecordPoint keeps pace with the release cycle of Microsoft and will have a SharePoint 2013 version available at the end of March is implemented by customers on their own or with the aid of an implementation partner (generally a SharePoint system integrator such as Sensory7, Avanade, Jacobs Group, or WindowLogic). RecordPoint delivers Consulting and Premium Support services to support its customers and implementation partners. The scope of RecordPoint s consulting and support services is focused on design, quality assurance and training rather than actual implementation or broader SharePoint work and includes the following service areas: o Requirements gathering and analysis o Design of SharePoint document management configuration (document types, metadata etc.) o Definition of records management rules and configuration for RecordPoint o Training o Quality assurance, testing and implementation support Key Features that Differentiate RecordPoint from SharePoint 1. 3 Key RecordPoint Benefits that Differentiate RecordPoint Meet Compliance Standards RecordPoint ensures that SharePoint data is duly retained and appropriately disposed of according to corporate and legislative rules, with RecordPoint certified to meet VERS and built to meet the requirements of ISO and ICA: ISO Adoption and Usability RecordPoint eliminates the need for end users to be explicitly trained in records management. By creating rules to map the records classification to the structures and metadata that have been built in SharePoint, RecordPoint appropriately classifies and categorises content and can also be used to assist the correct categorization of new content. Storage Efficiency - Lower cost of storage by archiving older or infrequently accessed content from primary storage systems to more cost-effective archival storage, whilst still keeping content within SharePoint. Transparent Access - Archive documents while leaving shortcuts or links in SharePoint, providing transparent access to users and organizational control over content. Scalability RecordPoint enables SharePoint to scale to meet growing archiving needs, with the ability to more easily manage terabytes of content within SharePoint. Centralized Control - Impose corporate retention and storage policies and reuse information to enhance existing business processes, reduce management and governance overhead, and boost productivity. 100% SharePoint - RecordPoint is not consult ware. It is a stand-alone independent software product that is 100% built into SharePoint, using.net, Windows Server and SQL. Content never leaves SharePoint and there is only one object per record and one repository to manage. Extensible and Interoperable - RecordPoint is an open, documented, standards based solution that is easy to enhance and extend by any proficient systems integrator. You are not bound to a proprietary implementation partner. Recommended - RecordPoint is recommended by Microsoft, Forrester and Gartner as the preferred records management extension to SharePoint in order to comply with Australian records management standards.
4 RecordPoint Pricing Commercial in Confidence RecordPoint pricing is an annuity subscription model. The pricing includes a base price for the pool and a per user price for each user above the minimum user number in that pool as shown in the table below. These prices may be subject to change with 30 days notice.
