Form of the competition Three-day-long individual competition included in the PZOS Ranking of the Polish Orienteering Association with the ranking position 1.3. Attention! Here s a change! Due to the PZOS (Polish Orienteering Association) rankings, interval starts are planned at all 3 states of the competition. During the 3 days of the competition, 8 best participants of Stage 2, in the categories K20/21 Elite and M20/21 Elite will run with the GPS-Tracking that will be displayed on a big screen in the competition centre. 4 The old map: Day 3, Kwidzyn Miłosna updated in 2011 (scan available on the competition website). The maps won t be collected at the finish line of each stage. Please follow the rules of fair play. At each stage there is a refreshment point where you can get some water. These points are marked on the maps and are situated by most routes. Attention! Here s a change! All maps for the categories: K55/60 and older, and M60 and older scale 1:7500, E 2.5 m For all the other categories scale 1:10000, E 2.5 m. All maps updated in July All maps foiled. 9. Competition site It is a moraine area, mostly with a very interesting micro-terrain structure. In some places (especially at Stage 2) there are large elevation differences. Most of the venue is a beech and pine forest with a good, but in some places difficult and very difficult, runnability. There s a developed network of roads. Attention! During Stage 2, in the forest near the finishing line, there will be signs SHOOTING RANGE NO TRESPASSING. On that day, the signs do not apply to the participants of Grand Prix Polonia 2015, which means that you can enter the site. 10. Start and finish The access road to the competition centre and the starting line will be marked with purple ribbons. Start at the place marked on the map. In the field it will be marked with a lanterns and banner START. Participants are obliged to run to the point of distributing maps the route marked with pink ribbons. Age categories Sports categories: - K10N (marked with ribbons), K10, K12, K14, K16, K18, K20/21E (Elite), K21, K35, K40, K45/50, K55/K60, K65+, K-VIP - M10N (marked with ribbons), M10, M12, M14, M16, M18, M20/21E (Elite), M21, M35, M40, M45, M50, M55, M60, M65, M70, M75, M80, M105, M-VIP Recreational categories: - Open 1 - Family (very easy, short, for beginners and families with children) - Open 2 - Short (easy and short, for beginners) - Open 3 - Middle (more difficult, longer, for intermediate runners) Routed marked with ribbons: look for pink ribbons. The category K/M VIP is only for participants invited by the organizers. Attention! Due to the lower number of participants in some age categories and pursuant to the decision of the Main Referee, the organisers decided to join the following categories: K20 and K21E, M20 and M21E, K45 and K50, K55 and K60.

5 12. Results The results, constantly updated, will be displayed in the competition centre and in the live version on the competition website. During all the stages, the results will be also available in the local Wi-Fi network via a web browser in all competition centres, located up to 100 m from the Computing Centre. The login instruction will be included in the event booklet and available in the Computing Office before the start of the competition. There will also be 2 radio controls with access to live results, placed along most routes at every stage. 13. Applications Deadline of applications expired on 31 st July Applications after this date (also for the Tourist Stage) will be accepted as before, i.e. via an application form in Excel format, to be downloaded from and sent to the address: bno@umkskwidzyn.pl, but only in place of available vacancies. 14. Mini kindergarten During all stages of Grand Prix Polonia 2015, in the centre of every stage there will be a mini kindergarten in which participants-parents will be able to leave their children under the supervision of the organisers for the time of the run.

6 17. Catering During all stages of Grand Prix Polonia 2015, in the centre of every stage there will be a canteen run by a professional catering company. You will be offered very good quality food at reasonable prices, including sour bread soup, sauerkraut stew, roast sausage, stew with buckwheat, roast pork knuckle, pork chops, gelato ice cream, as well as hot and cold drinks. At the finishing line every participant will be given a bottle of water and an energy bar. 18. Transport Participants reach the competition centre of each day of the event via their own means of transport. Moreover, every day of the competition there will be a bus provided by the organisers, going on the route Kwidzyn Railway Station Competition Centre Kwidzyn Railway Station according to the schedule: Friday (time of the journey: about 20 min.) Departure from the car park by the railway station in Kwidzyn: 9:10, 9:50 Return, departure from Sadlinki 13:20, 14:00, 14:40 Saturday (time of the journey: about 15 min.) Departure from the car park by the railway station in Kwidzyn 8:40, 9:20 Return, departure from Aplinki (car park by the Competition Centre) 12:50, 13:30, 14:10 Sunday (time of the journey: about 10 min.) Departure from the car park by the railway station in Kwidzyn 8:00, 8:20, 8:40 Return, departure from Sadlinki 13:45, 14:00, 14:15 If you need to use the organiser s bus, please send the information to the address bno@umkskwidzyn.pl by Friday 7 th August. Please pay the transportation fee, in the amount of PLN 6 per person a day ( 1.5), in the competition office. 19. Car park All 3 days of the competition car park free of charge. The car park for passenger cars and minibuses, for all 3 days of the event, is located on the site immediately adjacent to the competition centre. On the 1 st day of the event, the car park for buses will be located 700 m from the competition centre. The access road will be marked with yellow ribbons. 20. Prizes Categories up to K/M 14: diplomas and small prizes for places 1 6 Categories K/M 16 and older: diplomas and small prizes for places 1 3 Categories K21E and M21E: financial prizes for places 1 3 All sports categories: medals for places 1 3, for places 1 - trophies 21. Additional information - all participants are obliged to have valid medical examination conducted; - participants who haven t been medically examined recently can compete solely at their own risk; - participants insure themselves; - the organizer provides medical care.
